Sir Walter Raleigh’s was a nice quiet restaurant. We had a private room with a fire place and ample seating for our rehearsal dinner. Service was moderate; they offer a salad bar that was filled with variety to include fruit. The service was professional and the location was unbeatable. Right off the beltway here in Maryland. My mother-in-law paid for the dinner so we searched for a place that was affordable and not too over the top with prices and Sir Walter Raleigh definitely was affordable. For a party of 12 ordering whatever we wanted, no alcohol the bill was approximately $250, not bad!

I was not pleased with this vendor. We met Rodney (the owner) at another friends wedding and his personality was great. He knew what he was doing. His prices are definitely competitive and I do believe he is flexible on payment. My disappointment came with the delivery of my wedding photos; we were promised delivery of proofs in 6 weeks and final package I believe a few weeks after that. We did not receive proofs for 3 or 4 months and we were sent approximately 20 pictures online. We were then told that our pictures had been sent to the printer and he had selected which pictures to print in select sizes. This angered my husband and me as we would have loved to pick our own pictures to size. We purchased a modern white leather cover album with the photos as the pages…this turned out lovely; however, we didn’t get to select the pictures that went into our album. What did salvage this experience was that we received- on CD from Rodney -all our wedding photos and we are able to get them re-printed to our liking.

Men’s warehouse has your typical selection of men’s tuxedos. They do offer a good deal off, rent 4 tuxedo’s and get the 5th rental for free. My husband ended up with a free tuxedo rental and it didn’t matter which tuxedo he rented (from low end to high end). I wasn’t too thrilled that you couldn’t try on a sample tuxedo in store and had to wait till 2 days prior to the wedding to be fitted. I will say that even though you waited until 2 days before the wedding, they were quick in making whatever alterations you requested. I think the service could have been better and more experienced tailors on hand to advise the men on size and fit. We rented the shoes from there, as well, and on the first go- around all the shoes were extremely dingy… but they did re-order in time for the wedding and we received new shoes. The selection of vests wasn’t broad, but they did offer a few more designs than “After-hours” which I believe is also a subsidiary of Men’s Warehouse.

This is the jeweler to select. Love everything we purchased, love the service and the prices weren’t bad. Bailey’s offers in-store appraisals that are done in minutes; I can stop by any Bailey’s store for a cleaning, buffing, or re-set. I truly like this jeweler of all the jewelers I have visited.

By far, hands down the best vendor I had for my wedding. Da Vinci Florist is price accommodating, service is perfection, quality all the way. I love Sharon, he is the owner and designer, you tell him your price range and what you’d like, and he’ll work it out for you. I designed my own arrangement and he re-created it to a T. I included some jewels on my arrangement as well and Sharon was actually the one to tell me where to find the jewels the cheapest. He is becoming a one stop shop for floral, lighting, chairs and linen; all of which he provided for my wedding. The flowers were fresh, the color was on-point. The timing of delivery, the service workers that arranged the hall and the wedding ceremony hall were extremely professional. My wedding bouquet was perfection, I’m willing to offer pictures if needed! LOVE DA VINCI”S!!!

Loved it!!! From your personal wedding coordinator to your personal bridal assistant the night of. They were all fabulous, encouraging, helpful and accommodating. Martins offers you a space that is beautiful, to include the chandeliers. I personalized my wedding quite a bit and was able to bring in all the vendors my heart desired, from the lighting, musician, florist, caterer, videographer, I even had my chairs and linen delivered and my own chargers for the tables. Martin’s was extremely accommodating and on occasion, assisted my outside vendors. I would truly recommend Martins for a venue. I was married on a Wednesday during the winter and was offered a 30% discount, which went a long way with a guest list of over 200.

Cakes by Michaels has a good selection of custom filling. The price per slice is also reasonable and sometimes they actually are willing to bargain a bit. The payment options are good and delivery is prompt. I had a special wedding topper that I instructed was to be placed in the hands of my coordinator open cutting of the cake, they took very good care of it. They are open to customizing your cake to your desire; however, I was a bit disappointed in the size, I was told it would be larger than what it came out to be. The taste was good though.

This is where I selected and purchased my bridesmaid gowns. Rizik's offers a great selection of designer gowns that you will find in magazines. The service is great; a personal assistant is with you throughout the entire process. You have the option of picking different fabrics and colors with different designers and even order the dress with some tweaks. I was almost out of time for the ordering process which is normally 2 months, but my dresses where actually delivered early. I was very pleased with Rizik's and the quality and look of the dresses. Again, the only reason I would not rate them as a 5 would be the cost of the dresses as well as alterations.
 


PF Chang offers gourmet Chinese food. The food is served fresh, to order and the service is very efficient. They have accommodations for up to 10 people in one booth seating that is extremely comfortable. The atmosphere is very nice and not noisy. We had the dinner portion of my bachelorette party here.

I purchased my wedding dress for Bridal Images. There service was exceptional; all the attendants were extremely sensitive to what I requested to see and gave their advice on what might look good on me. The alterations were done to perfection and in promised timing. My dress had intricate lacing that had to be removed in order to hem the length. I would have rated them a 5 with the exception that the cost of the dress was a bit much and the alterations were on the higher end of what it cost in the general market. But it was worth every penny.
