In one word...stunning! Chris created the most beautiful arrangements I have ever seen. We used sunflowers as a motif for our August wedding, and carried this through the floral arrangements.
My bridal bouquet was gorgeous, bright yellow sunflowers, beautiful yellow roses, and lovely trailing greenery. The bridesmaids' flowers were just as beautiful. But the centerpieces were the real show stoppers. There were sunflowers of varying heights, some natural grasses to add some drama. and then gorgeous amber lights. The centerpieces had a lovely amber glow. Everyone remarked how beautiful they were, I think everyone wanted to take one home.
Chris is a florist with amazing taste and creativity. I highly recommend him.

I was really disappointed by Primetime Entertainers. We originally met with the sales rep, and he promised us the world. He said we could book a specific DJ, and that this person would play the kind of music we wanted to hear.
Well, 3 days prior to the wedding, we get a call from a replacement DJ, apparently the one we requested took the day off. Asked the sales rep why no one notified us, and he never gave us an answer.
Speaking with the replacement, we told him what we wanted to hear, and specifically requested a variety of genres, but with lots of Motown and soul. He replied that he would play what *he* felt the crowd wanted to hear, and that is exactly what he did. He played some of our must-play songs, but then the rest of the playlists were skewed towards the few younger people attending our wedding. Many of our older guests were left out, it was mostly newer r&b and hip-hop. Hardly any slow songs for the couples.
The sound quality was poor, songs sounded distorted, as if they had been bootlegged numerous times. There were problems with volume control, it would start out too loud.
Very disappointed that the DJ did his own thing, that he took no consideration of the fact that we were paying for his services, and that he didn't play the kind of music we wanted.
Like the previous review, I believe that I overpaid as well, despite the fact that I haggled a bit.
I ordered my bridesmaids dresses from her, one was much too big, the other was too small, despite the fact that we went in for measurements. Luckily the girls went elsewhere for alterations.
My bridal gown had a lace-up back, so it didn't require significant alterations. However, she completely ruined the hem. The dress had to be shortened a bit, and the hemming method she used looked terrible. It's hard to describe, but the gown and lining were sewed together, and there was some sort of stiff band in it. But, this caused the hem to roll down and out, so that the lining was showing. And, she shortened the gown so much that the crinoline was visible. I went for the final fitting a week prior to the wedding, and she promised me that it would be corrected. The day before the wedding I picked up the gown, and the problem was still there. Probably no one noticed it, but I did. It irks me that I had to pay for alterations that were done poorly, but by that time it was too late to do anything about it.
Lauren bakes the most beautiful and delicious cakes. She doesn't use fondant, she covers all of her cakes in chocolate.
We had a sunflower theme and used it on the invitations, place settings, etc. Lauren carried it over to the cake, shaping and cutting out the most beautiful flowers to decorate the 3 cakes we had.
Most wedding cakes look beautiful but taste horrible. Not so with Lauren's cakes, they are truly the best cakes I've ever tasted. You can see and taste the care with which she prepares her creations. We had a red velvet cake, with white chocolate cream cheese buttercream. Our guests loved the cake so much, so it's lucky we had extra. And the leftovers didn't last long either. Even our photographer commented that he never eats wedding cake, but I found him eating a huge piece of Lauren's cake! I hardly ate any of the food at the reception (running around, nerves, etc.), but I made sure to have some of her cake.
Do yourself a favor and contact Lauren about her cakes...you won't be sorry!

Words cannot describe what a beautiful ceremony Celia created for us. She captured both the joy and humor of the day. Our initial meeting was wonderful, and we knew right away that we would be a good fit for each other. Once we decided to hire her, Celia gave us a questionnaire to complete, so that she could get to know us even better. This had in-depth questions about how we met, fell in love, etc.
She then created a ceremony that was perfectly suited to both of our personalities. We wanted something spiritual, yet also fun - a ceremony that would reflect what we are really about as a couple. She began by telling the story of how we met and fell in love, something you don't often hear in a "traditional" ceremony. Her suggested readings fit us to a T. During the vow/ring ceremony, she suggested that we pass the rings amongst the guests. This was a beautiful idea, and we loved it. She also customized a wine ceremony for us, by incorporating a cultural tradition from Germany.
We had numerous phone conversations in the weeks leading up to the ceremony, and she helped to calm any of the nervousness that we had. Her joyous personality is absolutely infectious!
So many people complimented us on the ceremony that Celia created, saying how beautiful and personal it was. We found Celia quite by accident during a web search, and feel truly blessed that we were able to connect. We are so happy that Celia was a part of our day, and are grateful for the beautiful memories that she helped us create.
