Lori and Tony were great to work with. They helped us take care of every last detail for our at home reception, which worked out perfectly because they knew exactly what was needed and what would work. They made great suggestions and reminders, and made sure details like extra garbage cans smoking area were looked into. The tent and tables were perfect, beautiful, and the set-up was done in record time. They are professionals in the business, and they know what they are doing!

We were having an at-home reception, so we needed to eat out for the rehersal dinner. The Olive Garden was a perfect choice because it was close to my parent’s house, and they also have all-you can eat meals. They took out 7:00pm reservations for 12 at 4pm, and we didn’t have to wait. The waitress was good, and the manager even came out to make sure everyone always had water and salad. We were messy and sweaty, and it was nice being somewhere so clean and nice.

Our pictures were beautiful! We were so impressed with how beautiful we looked in the pictures, especially since we saw many of our non-professional guests pictures before we saw Brian’s pictures. He has a unique eye and the end result was amazing pictures. He’s talented and funny, and I think he’s exactly the type of person you want at your wedding. He’s like the funny older brother with a great sense of humor that snaps pictures.

The hotel block we got was expensive even with the discount, but the rooms were clean and no one really complained or commented on the price. We had no problem making the reservation through central office. We made the reservation over the phone. The person we spoke to was polite. My husband went and visited family at the hotel, I didn’t, and he said it was good.

My sister-in-law got married last year and introduced me to the staff at Oberer. She said that the florists at Oberer are the best in Dayton, and I have to agree. The owners are present are treat their staff great, they run a great shop, they go the extra mile to make sure the needs and wants of the bride is met. The whole staff was happy to help us. Our flowers were fresh, and the big centerpieces we got were so fresh that we kept them for almost two weeks after the wedding.

Because this is my church, I obviously have high opinions of it. The whole congregation was wonderful during our preparation for matrimony. I don’t know how easy it would be to have your wedding at the church if your not a member, but we were able to get the date we wanted. We did have to go through a pre-cana program, which is actually good. The church is beautiful. I have always loved it, and it is a very special place to get married.

They did a great job. The hot food was served hot, and the cold food was served cold, which is important. Because we were over 120 guests with different dietary needs, we went buffet. The set-up of the fruit table was beautiful, and the dessert table was great. They definitely over delivered on all their food promises! They also have a great menu of appetizers and entrees to choose from. We were also able to contact them as the number to our party RSVP list changed, which wasn’t that big of a problem.

We had a dessert table instead of a cake, since it offered a wider selection. We also had a fruit table, which was the caterer’s suggestion, which offered something lighter than cake and bars.

Charlotte Russe is one of my favorite stores for clothing, because a lot of their dresses and shirts remind me of European stores that I have visited in Spain and London. I found dresses by chance there, long dresses, and the dresses looked good on my friends, so we bought them. The dresses were for a special occasion, but I wouldn’t say that they were formal dresses. I don’t think the sales people are the best in the world, since most of them are less than 20 years old and have a bit of attitude. I do like the accessories there, and I think the store has a good selection of fun clothing.

The food isn’t for everyone, but my mother and I both love the ambiance and the eastern European food at this restaurant. The restaurant takes reservations, and we were able to have a lunch party of 12 for my bridal shower. They have the best desserts! The menu is pricey, but the quality of the food is worth it. The bar is also beautiful, and it’s fun to hang out there before and after.

I give this event middle marks (3.5) because it was good but also because it doesn’t really make a difference if you go or not. There are lots of good ideas, but many of the vendors are pricey and most of them I knew of already. There were dresses there that you could buy at a discount, and they had door prizes. It was a very busy event, I would compare it to an actual convention because there is so much going on.
