It’s unfortunate that such a place exists here in our area. Once upon a time the staff was lovely; I wish I’d known that all that had changed. The wedding coordinators along with the catering manager Gina all have bad attitudes are unprofessional and have very poor people skills. They treat potential couples like cattle coming on through and as if we are a nuisance instead of valued customers. We were not greeting with the positive vibe you’d expect when planning a celebration such as your wedding, but instead rudeness, like they were doing us a favor by even meeting us for an appointment.

Lucky for us, their attitudes were a red flag, we immediately called the general manager of the resort to let him know that were not happy with the way their staff treated us. Our feedback was ignored and we did not pursue plans for our event there further.

It seems that if the management cared more about the guests at this seaside resort they would set the right example and not allow this type of behavior from the poor excuses for wedding coordinators. These folks haven't heard of customer service. Planning our wedding has been fun and festive, and these Seascape coordinators are nothing but a downer.

Overall it is sad that the coordinators and catering manager are running the show at Seascape Resort. With a professional, respectful, knowledgeable staff that understands what customer service is for couples planning their wedding, Seascape could be an amazing place to have our event. But with the snotty and self absorbed people they have working with couples it won’t get a chance.

Our friends were married at Seascape, as the event site had a cancellation and they were able to secure a pretty good deal on the place. Unfortunately, as guests at their wedding- again the coordinators bad attitude stung like a sunburn. They were yelling at the couples awesome photographer, dictating that the wedding was a couple minutes off schedule in full volume the guests.

Our sweet friends were embarrassed by the behavior of the Seascape wedding coordinator. What a bad trip they seemed to be on, like the wedding was getting in the way of their day off or something. Obviously these folks are in the wrong line of work. In comparison, try a venue like The Holly Farm in Carmel Valley- where we decided to get married. This family owned lush private estate is top notch on hospitality and service. A breath of fresh air really, with smiles and easygoing feeling. Where ever you decide to have your wedding, take my advice and steer clear of Seascape Resort in Aptos, I wish I hadn’t wasted my time valuable time and that someone had given us a heads up on the place.
