These were friends of my husband. They kept my friends dancing all night. My only complaint would be that some songs were played too long and the guests got bored of dancing to them (for example the hustle, cha-cha slide, etc.)

This is my family church so I wouldn’t have had it any other way but to be married there. Working with the kind priest, Father Randall Phillips, was so easy and all it took was a call to the office to get any questions answered. He made the mass very special with his words and his presence. They require you to be registered parishioners and have specific rules for things such as aisle runners and flower arrangements so if you're not flexible this won’t be a good choice for you. If you want a meaningful Catholic wedding this is a wonderful choice.

I was able to pick out my music one-on-one with the director of music. He was very open to my ideas and even ordered a new song for the wedding. The musicians were wonderfully talented. We received so many compliments on how much the music enhanced the mass.

4 stars: Reception Site: The hall was beautiful and the staff was super in helping us to organize the event. As I mention below, the food was great, the room was beautiful. The best part was how easy they made the planning. They truly kept me organized and on track. My only complaint was a crabby bartender!

5 stars: Catering: The food was one of the finer points of our evening. It was very tasty and looked beautiful. We had heard people rave about the food at this hall so it is one of the reasons we booked it. My only regret is that we didn’t get to take any home!

5 stars: Cake: Our cake came with our hall reservation but it was Beautiful and delicious. The baker was willing to work with us to give us any kind of cake we wanted. This was definitely a bonus to our Hall site.

3 stars: Hotel Block: The rooms were very easy to block but a little on the pricey side. However, we got our room free so I can’t complain. Beware if you have a group that is ready to party after the reception, as the security is very strict. My group was a just little loud but certainly not disruptive and security was at the door very frequently – we felt harassed.

The dresses were beautiful and well-made. The staff was a little pushy when it came to rushing and ordering sizes. However, in the end it worked out wonderfully and all the girls were happy, and looked stunning. You’ll need to make an appointment even just to go look at dresses – but that is actually nice because it keeps the store from getting overcrowded.

Bridal Shower: The staff was easy to work with, and the shower went beautifully. The food was plentiful and delicious – we had many nice compliments about it. The price was right and I wouldn’t have it any place else if I could go back. I was very pleased.

The shows had lots of samples and opportunities to speak to vendors and book them, if you want. They also had fun games and opportunities to win prizes. I won free tuxedos and my girlfriend won a whole wedding! The trick is to stay until then end – you can’t win if you leave.

Bachelorette Party: The bar was very over-crowded and the drinks were very pricey. The only bathroom they had you needed to go downstairs to use, and the staff was grumpy. The DJ told my girlfriends it wasn’t his job to announce my bach. party (it isn’t but it would have been nice and wouldn’t have taken any effort on his part.) We ended up leaving to dance at a hole-in-the wall bar which treated us great!

For my husband's bachelor party they headed to a Tiger's game at Comerica Park. Then they went out to party at Gino's Surf. They didn’t rent a hall at Gino surf – rather just enjoyed their tiki style bar. The staff was very friendly the drinks were a bit expensive but that was expected.

The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I never had a problem making an appointment or walking in with a question. They did the job right the first time and the prices were fair.
