We thought that it would be cute to give everyone a 'wedding love' fortune at the party as a small gift with their place seat card. We chose fortune cookies, because they are a very interactive gift that involves smashing and then reading your fortune and comparing it with others. We were able to get 10 different fortunes written, and my husband and I each picked five sayings. I went with some love quotes, and then some funny Irish love quotes. My husband chose to write 'sorry, the groom is the luckiest man in the room this evening'. One big suggestion is to have an extra bowl of fortune cookies, just in case someone wants a second or third fortune.

They were great! They came highly recommended to us by the staff of the Kapok, and we decided that we wanted DJs who knew the reception hall and who had worked there before. We met with them a few times to discuss potential booking, and then to discuss the play list. They're really on top of it. They already had an amazing selection of songs for each part of the evening, which made it less of a burden for us. We gave them a few suggestions of what we wanted to hear, like the song for our first dance, but they already had all that music. They even were able to take some requests during the dancing part of the evening, which was great! The guys had lots of energy, and it was fun having them at our wedding!

Tim was really great to work with! He has baked the wedding cakes and other cakes for other members of our family, and we always loved the cakes he's baked! They look beautiful, too! For our wedding, we were going to have both a dessert table and a wedding cake, because it wouldn't be a wedding without a three tiered cake! We explained to Tim that we wanted something simple, so we had two layers of chocolate and one vanilla, but also beautiful. The design we chose was one that had hundreds of tiny white icing flowers all over it. It was really delicate, but really beautiful! I loved the pictures, and I loved how good it tasted!

They were great caterers! Even though their name says 'affordable', all the plates and dishes that they presented were full and generous! They outdid themselves in presentation, too, which was so nice of them! The food was delicious, and no one complained that they didn't have enough food! We set up a consultation, explained where the wedding reception would be, all our favorite foods, and what our budget was. They were great at giving us a huge selection of menu options! They also provide the servers, which is great, and the servers for the evening were very professional and really nice, too! The best part was that they were able to take care of the dessert table, and the drinks, which made it easier in planning.

It's really the most beautiful place I can think of in the area! I have been to a few parties there, and I fell in love right away with the huge chandelier and the the antique looking decorations and pillars. There really is a sense that this place is romantic, and that it's the for couples to have their first dance! We booked it over a year in advance, although the manager told us that it is less busy during certain times of the year. We were able to bring in our own caterer, and DJ, and we pretty much had access to all the facilities. We didn't bring in decorations, because it really wasn't necessary. The place has a old, romantic atmosphere, and we wanted to keep that feeling.

We booked two limousines to take the whole wedding party to the ceremony and reception hall. We chose Allstar because we heard that they had great service, and many of our friends that had hired them loved the limousines. Our limousine was clean, on time, and the driver was really nice. It was really easy to book them, and we were always able to contact them when we had questions about insurance or when we needed to change the pickup time. Also, having someone to drive us around made it so much more easier for planning! We all showed up at the same time, and no one was late!

I love my engagement ring! My husband had picked it out by himself, but before he bought it he went to Charles Jewelers' with my parents to ask their opinion on it! The staff thought it was really sweet that my husband was getting my parent's permission on the ring choice! My mother knew right away that I would love it, and I did! It was a simple one-stone engagement ring in a modern looking band, and it was in white gold. It was simple but very strong looking. My husband liked the idea of getting matching bands, but he really liked the idea of getting a mix ring of titanium and gold. I liked how the braided ring look, so we did get matching bands. I really love wearing my rings, they look great together.

There are so many locations, but this was the main one where my husband and his friends rented their suit from. They have great deals on tux rentals, especially when they go in as a wedding party. My husband said that he made the appointment for the fitting, it took about ten to fifteen minutes per person to get fit, and then there suits were ready. Because there was a big sale going on, I also encouraged my husband to buy a nice jacket and pants. He wore them to the rehearsal dinner. He looked so handsome all dressed up in a simple jacket, but he looked amazing in his tux! All men should wear tuxes on their wedding day!

I found out about Invitations by Dawn through a wedding magazine that I had picked up. I checked out the site, and I loved the idea of getting everything I needed in one online shopping trip. I trusted that what I would be getting would be high quality, mainly because the site had so many great reviews! I ordered my save-the-date cards, the invitations, the wishing well, and really cute name tags for the seating chart. I think I saved about three days worth of work by ordering everything online. The cards arrived before the expected date, which was great, and I thought they were beautiful. I was so happy with my choice!

My bridesmaids found the dresses that they wanted to wear during a trunk show at CC's boutique. They dresses were very beautiful, but they were also on the pricey side because they were that year's style. The girls loved the dresses and offered to pay for the dresses themselves! I think that CC's does have an excellent selection of bridesmaids dresses, to my memory, and they are all of excellent quality. They had the alterations done at the store, as well as have the dresses preserved.

Trunk Show: We went to several trunk shows, just because a trunk show is a great way to get fashion ideas for the bridal party and other great ideas from other brides. The fashion shows we went to at CC's were for the Emerald Bridal Show and the Watters trunk Show. This is actually where the bridesmaids found the dresses that they would wear to my wedding! They book up fast, or at least that's what they always tell me on the phone, but I always managed to get two or three tickets. There's always lots of people at the shows. It's really a great way to see the dresses and to visit the stores.
