On our wedding night we stayed at The Fleur-De-Lys Mansion. We booked our reservations online and the room that we stayed in was called the Forest Park. It was beautiful and had all kinds of amenities that we liked. I cannot say enough on how well the room and also the Mansion was- it was really beautiful. Booking was simple as we did it online, but we did call them before that to talk to them a little bit to find out additional information. But just by visiting their website we learned a lot.

Country Club Limousines helped coordinate our wedding transportation. They provided us with a nice limousine that was well kept and also looked nice. They provided a bottle of champagne and bottled water in the limousine. The driver was really nice and also making the reservations was a nice experience too- we learned a lot about our options as they told us a few different things and let us decided from there what we wanted. We had no problems with Country Club Limousines.

The best man rented his tuxedo from Akins Tuxedo. All of the tuxedos were nice and they had the colors that went with the wedding perfectly. Me and my now husband went in with the best man to help him pick out the tuxedo as he was stumped and really didn’t know what would go well with the wedding and he wanted to fit in perfectly. So we visited the shop and he really didn’t need us to go as the staff did all the work all we had to do is tell the staff some ideas and they took off from there.


 I had to make an appointment with Calligraphy lady. When I called they were not open but they called me back the next day and let me know when we could view all of the different invitations. We picked the hand painted invitations that the Calligraphy lady did. We saw a few samples and liked what we saw. From there Calligraphy Lady went over with the prices and everything else. We got nice invitations from Calligraphy Lady. Also a nice little plus is Calligraphy Lady has a website so when we did our online search it saved us a little time since we seen some previous samples of the work online.

I got my hair done at St Louis Salon and Spa. My hair was done wonderfully and also I liked the hair extensions that I got. The hair stylists were really nice to me and also helped me with all of my questions and also showed me several new ways of doing my hair and other neat styles that they did. I left St Louis Salon and Spa with a wedding hair style to remember. I am glad I had them do my hair style.

Petals Galore was wonderful to work with as they created us a very nice wedding centerpiece of flowers and also a wonderful wedding bouquet that was full of colors and created rather nicely. It was a very nice experience working with them. I had no problem at all with them and also it wasn’t hard to find the perfect pieces that we needed and then make all the final arrangenments with them. They added some life to our wedding which was nice.

Most of our wedding favors were purchased from Lake Forest Confections. They had knowledge of weddings and also had a section in which they specialized in a lot of the nice wedding things that you need. We ended up getting several personalized items that our wedding guests really enjoyed. There mints were delicious and so were the vanilla caramels. They had so much stuff but they were very nice and they helped us tremendously.

Cravings Gourmet Desserts did our wedding cake. My cousin did recommend Cravings Gourmet Desserts to me as she had recently gotten married and used them for her wedding. What was nice about Cravings Gourmet Desserts was that they used a lot of organic ingredients in making the cakes. The made our wedding cake and it was rather beautiful and tasted rather good. We all enjoyed the cake and I think I gained a few pounds as all of the left over cake we had could not go to waste!


 The bridesmaid dresses were purchased from Town and Country Bridal Boutique. We found several dresses that match the wedding’s colors. The selection was rather nice at the boutique and also the staff was pretty good to us in showing us around and asking us a little bit about the wedding. We found a nice dress and it was well designed and looks real nice. Also on the visit we did pick up a pair of nice shoes for my flower girl too, so the shop had more than dresses it also had a lot of wedding accessories.

I got my bridal gown from A Bride to Be. The service was rather helpful and also rather good. I did not have to ask for help they were right there. I got a nice wedding gown that they did do some customization on for me. They were helpful in helping me pick what I liked and also they were easy going and didn’t rush me- they wanted me to take my time and they did not get mad at me for taking a few moments to find what I liked and once I found what I liked they went from there.
