Our wedding was through Sunset Gardens and part of the package was a wedding cake with Kathy at Tiers of Joy. Kathy made the best cake and it was a simple effort. We went to her website, picked the style of cake (3 square tiers), picked the flavors of cake and filling (bottom: lemon cake with raspberry creme filling, middle: spice cake with caramel creme filling, top: red velvet with cream cheese filling), picked no fondit (her creme frosting was wonderful), and flowers for decoration. The only drawback was that we didn't taste it beforehand, but boy was it a hit at the wedding! I was told by 6 people that it was the best tasting wedding cake they'd ever had and I love the 3 bites that I got of it (during the cake cutting ceremony), because it was gone by the time I looked for a slice! Kathy was wonderful to deal with and we couldn't have been happier with the results.
