We booked our honeymoon through Carlson Wagonlit Travel in Western Springs, IL. Our honeymoon was not that good. I should have listened to my husband. I thought going through a travel agent would ensure a good time. She convinced us that the Riu in Cabo was good. It was not that good and the food was terrible (we had to eat out every night at an all-inclusive resort). We also found the trip for $500 less on Expedia 2 days later. Stay away.

My husband and I took dance lessons at Impact Dance Studio in LaGrange. I highly recommend this place. Getting dance lessons is a must. This part was the most fun we had during the wedding planning process!

Classic Party Rentals was a very expensive service. However, they were very prompt and have a wide selection. We ordered a tent from them which was very nice-- but I think we could have gotten a better deal if we had shopped around.

Ancona Jewelers is family-owned. We were very pleased with them. They treated us like we were family! We shopped around a lot.....They had best prices and best product that we found.

Our wedding cake was made by the Oak Mill Bakery in Niles. We brought them a picture out of a magazine and they recreated it perfectly. Tasted so good!! They were very fairly priced too. You can't go wrong with this place. They have been around forever.

My mother-in-law gave us our wedding shower at Café La Cave. At first I thought the place was old. Was I wrong! I wish we had our wedding there! Food & Service was spectacular!!!

We had our rehearsal dinner at Pescatore Palace. We loved the food. Very good price and great service. You can’t go wrong with this place. They have excellent food and a great seafood selection. It is a family run place with great service. They didn’t try and rush us out. We were more than satisfied with our experience with Pescatore Palace!

Our reception entertainment was provided by TVK Orchestra. We Loved them! They really made our wedding. They are very professional and kept the crowd going all night long. We had a lot of our guests inquire about where we found the band! Highly recommended.

We made our invitations and saved a lot of money. Archivers is great. They have classes you can sign up for and magazines that will help out with ideas. Their staff is very helpful too. You can spend 1000s on invitations or save a lot by using Archivers.

Our wedding reception was held at the Hotel Sofitel in Rosemont. The hotel was beautiful. The food was great. The desert table was awesome. Service was out of this world. Our guest loved it. For the price you can’t beat it. The rooms could be a little nicer, but for the area this is a very nice hotel. It is also very convenient for your guests because it is near I294 and I90. Out of town guests can even take the train downtown if they wanted to.
