We purchased all of our alcohol at Costco and saved a lot of money in the end. Our caterer was insured and provided a bartender and rather than having them provide the alcohol and charging us double what it cost, we decided to price it out. Costco is very reasonable when it comes to beer and wine, but really wasn't that much cheaper than a liqour store when it came to champagne and hard licqour.

My wife had her heart set on wearing her mother's veil, but when she pulled it out of storage, it was so worn from not being properly preserved that it was unwearable. My wife contacted Occansey and had them try and replicate her mother's veil. It was a little bit different than she expected it to be but she loved it because it was still similar to the one her mother wore.

We ordered our Save The Dates from here and they were great! The turnaround time was a little slow, but we were very happy with the final product. They have an amazing amount to choose from and we found something that fit perfectly with our colors and theme. I've even noticed some of our friends and family still have the magnet on their refridgerators! Great job!

Much more than I usually spend on getting my own hair cut, BUT to pacify my wife and make sure that I looked good for the wedding photos, I had them cut my hair the week before the wedding. In spite of not being thrilled to shell out $25 for a hair cut, the girl did a great job and I was happy with the cut. However, that will probably be the last time I get my hair cut at a 'salon'!

My wife typically doesn't wear a lot of makeup but was told that in order to look good for the pictures that she would have to pile it on. Since she didn't know how to do it, my sister suggested she go in for at least a trial at a professional makeup store. She had someone at the makeup counter in Belk do her makeup and despite detesting wearing makeup, she actually loved how she looked. I thought she looked absolutely gorgeous.

I had taken work clothes to Kim before and always had a great experience. She was quick and accurate and fairly affordable. My wife had her bridesmaids use Kim and as far as I know, they had no problems. They all showed up to the wedding wearing their bridesmaids dresses, so I'm assuming everything went well! I still use Kim and would recommend her for any type of alteration.

We had our rehearsal dinner here because we wanted somewhere that would have great food and be entertaining and relaxing. We had several people who had never experienced a restaurant with this kind of atmosphere and everyone really enjoyed it. It is a great option if you have a larger party for dinner because the tables can accommodate a decent amount of people. The food was great and the service was prompt.

When I went to choose a ring for my wife I didn't know the first thing about diamonds. I just assumed they were all the same just bigger or smaller. Isbell's staff gave me a complete education on the 'four C's' and helped me to pick out an exquisite diamond that didn't break my bank. After the engagement we went back to choose our wedding bands there since I had had such a great experience with them when choosing her engagement ring.

In spite of really not wanting to attend a bridal show, the experience we had here was a positive one. A lot of the vendors had discounts if you booked them that day, or at least booked a consultation. Overall, it was worth the time and cost of admission to go because we did save money by booking some of our vendors from the show.

We had a lot of out of town guests and wanted to make sure that they were taken care of and had a nice place to stay. After hearing horror stories of people who had booked rooms after only seeing the hotel lobby looking nice and then finding out that the rooms smelled like smoke, had bugs, etc, we wanted to see the rooms for ourselves. They had several room choices and all were clean and very nice. They held a large block of rooms for us at a great rate, including breakfast.
