My new husband and I spent our wedding night at the Dearborn Inn. The hotel was very elegant, and the room was very romantic and comfortable. I wish I would have had more time to enjoy it! It was very quiet and easy to relax after a long night!

The price was great, lower than any other price that I found for chair covers. The color choice was great, and I found a shade to fit with my color scheme. The whole process was easy & hassle free.

Reception site: The hall was beautiful and the food was good, but I had two big issues. The first was that the salesperson tried to convince me to book a much larger room and more meals than we needed, which would have cost me thousands extra. They told me that only 10% of the invitations would be regrets, and in reality it was about 40%. The other thing was when they cut up my wedding cake, they wrapped it up and put it in a barrel in the corner of the room, where no one knew what it was. So out of the 200 pieces of my cake, only a few were ever eaten.

The entire process with Miller Studios was difficult and disappointing. On the wedding night, the photographer had my overnight bag, so I had to walk out of the fancy hotel the morning after in a tee shirt, boxers and high heels. Then when I tried to pay my balance, it took forever because they didn’t even have an answering machine to take my message and never answered. My mother purchased prints that took too long to print and then came back fuzzy, only to have to re-print. And it took me 5 weeks to get a call back just so I could sign a piece of paper. I have been married almost a year and a half and still do not have my wedding picture book (though they got full payment long ago)!

The resort was gorgeous and had everything we could think of and more. It was very expensive though. Dinners were overpriced and under-delivered and we had to pay $20 for a round trip by shuttle into town every time. The pools were great and weren’t ever crowded. They did offer a lot of free activities for going to their presentation, like scuba diving, ATV’s, etc.

The flowers were beautiful, but there were a few things that didn’t come out as expected. My centerpieces were all the wrong shade and they were supposed to match the bridesmaids dresses, so I was pretty disappointed. No one called to let me know in advance, so I found out when I got to my reception.

DJ Paul Buck was awesome and really made everything go smoothly! He customized my wedding music for me and really made everything worry free. I will recommend him to everyone I know that is engaged!

Nicole was very helpful and let us get plenty of tasting in beforehand. The cake didn’t exactly look how I had expected, but it tasted great!

I had my bridal shower at Baker's of Milford. My family books almost every event at Baker’s because they always have great food and great service. The hall was beautiful and the servers were friendly and helpful. They did have a car show booked that day, so there wasn’t much room for my guests to park and the septic broke down, so we couldn’t use the restrooms. If you book at Baker’s make sure there is no car show that weekend!

I love the mechanical bull! It always makes for a fun night! It was pretty fun and we never had to wait for drinks. There were like 3 other bachelorette parties there, so that was kind of distracting. I really liked the patio though. It’s nice to be able to get some air without having to leave the club.
