This is an online company that lets you make your own webpage and send out "save the date" ecards with the same template. This is not a free site, but the cost is very small. There are other sites that offer webpages for free, but then the guest would need to type in a long web address and there was always the chance of error. We were able to purchase a site, with just our names (www.nurulandsara.com) without any problems. The cost was about $10-12 a month, which is not much considering you only need the site for a few months. We got lots of compliments from our friends and family. I just checked the website and just saw that they are having a free trail, so maybe new clients can get one month free.

Sara's sister hosted the rehearsal dinner at her house for Sara's family and several of our close friends and co-workers. She had a family grill that was catered by Tres Bon Catering. I love all the food, because there was dozens of great salads and small platters of sandwiches and deli meats. Sara's sister told me that it was not expensive at all. She also told me that there was an excellent selection of hot and cold catering menu. The food was fresh, really tasty, and well presented. I would have them cater any of my events in the future, without a doubt.

This is a perfect setting for a wedding. They have a lovely garden and gazebo for the ceremony, and they also have a great selection of facility halls for the reception. Once we had confirmed the guest list we were able to pick a hall and menu. There is a dance floor, which was perfect because obviously if it's a wedding people want to dance. It's also not that far away as some would think: from our house it took less than thirty minutes to get here, and for some living in Milwaukee it was even less than that. Things that we liked about The Loft & Chapel was that they gave us lots of freedom with bringing in our own cakes and decorations, as well as our own minister. They were also able to come up with an excellent vegetarian option for the vegetarian guests. I think they were very professional, and our wedding reception was perfect.

I went to Men's Wearhouse at the suggestion of both Sara's family and several of my co-workers. I was told that they have an excellent selection of suits at great prices. I thought that the quality of the suits could have been better. I also thought that for the amount of money we were paying, that we could have gotten a better deal. The suits are nice and sufficient, but they are not that special. Everything I bought was on sale three months later, which was a bit disappointing that I could not have gotten the discount at the time. I guess I am disappointed because I expected much more from my custom suit buying experience.

Our wedding bands were traditional Nepalese wedding bands that a family jeweler made for us back in Nepal. What I wanted was to give Sara something special that she could wear everyday. I decided that I would get her a pearl necklace, because they are very special and unique stones. I went to Lyle Husar because they have an excellent reputation in the area as having the best selection in high quality jewelry. I was very impressed with the amount of knowledge that the salespeople had on precious stones, and they were very good at helping me find a style of necklace that was beautiful but still youthful. I gave Sara the necklace on the wedding day, and she was so happy.

This is a really cute store that sells lots of unique looking cards and can do special orders on invitations for weddings and parties. Sara had found really cute cards that said, "Be My Bridesmaid" to give to her bridesmaids. We went in and ordered very nice cards for the wedding invitations. Because we had already contacted all our friends and most of our family through the save-the-date ecards, the paper cards were really for the older family members. Paperwork has a really nice staff, and they have a good selection of cards. The prices were also very reasonable, too. We had started to make the 'thank you cards' and so there was no way we would have had enough time to make the invitations as well. We ordered them five months ahead of time, and mailed them out four months ahead of time.

I'm from Nepal. For our honeymoon we returned to Nepal to have a second wedding there for my family members that couldn't come here. Because it takes so long to get there we waited until we were able to each get a month off of work. The conditions in Nepal aren't the greatest at the moment, but it was wonderful to see my family members. We stay with family members, so this review isn't about lodging but about what you can do in Nepal for fun. We still do tourist things in Nepal because Sara has only been to Nepal twice and finds it really fun to explore the country. One thing I recommend is the Adventure Pilgrim Trekking, which is a company that leads you on treks on the foothills of the Himalayas. Sara loves going on these hikes and treks, I'm not one for outdoor activities, but it is fun seeing your country through the eyes of an outsider. I really enjoyed walking and learning the small details and funny stories about the area from the guide.

These are not the most fancy rooms we have ever stayed, but they were very affordable and it was a good idea to have rooms near the wedding reception venue so that guests could rest up before and after the ceremony. The rooms vary in size, which is interesting, and they have lots of trendy services, which was rather fun for us. There is a free shuttle from and to the reception venue, which was a big reason why we chose to book a block of rooms at the Price Pointe. I would also suggest booking the rooms ahead of time, because we only booked twelve and the hotel was full on the night of our wedding.

As an engagement gift, Sara's best friends had paid for us to take a papermaking course together. Sara had taken classes there before, and I took art classes as an undergraduate for my degree and loved it. I loved the class at Artist And Display, and Sara really loved the creative aspect of making our own paper with flowers and leaves and seeds. The teachers are really great there, and it was fun leaning something new together. Once we got the hang of papermaking, we decided that we should make gifts for our wedding guests. It's hard to explain, but we made these "thank you" cards with organic paper that had seeds in them. We did this at the studio. When you planted the paper, or put the paper in earth, the paper was meant to disintegrate and then grow into flowers and grass because the paper had seeds inside it. Everyone loved the cards, and the idea that the cards would grow into flowers.

Sara and I love going here for the samosas and other treats that taste as good or even better than the ones we make at home. The food is very similar to Nepalese foods, and the family that works there is wonderful. It was Sara's suggestion to have them cater part of the wedding menu, and we decided that it would be fun for everyone if we had a table of Indian sweets and desserts. Bombay Sweets do cater, so it was no problem placing a large order with them. We picked a variety of sweets that looked nice and that we knew people would like the taste of. Most of the desserts are milked based, and they are sweeter than regular cake. We picked up the desserts and then brought them to the Loft and Chapel, where the staff placed them out on a table. We had planned and discussed the whole thing before hand so we knew exactly what it would look like. The desserts were very popular, and those that did try liked the desserts very much.
