Regina's Bridal is a very small bridal shop in Marietta,Ga. It's not a very good location nor is it a very update shop. But, we did shop around the area and on the internet and the one thing we found at Regina's was the colors we needed and the style dresses the girls liked. Much better than David's Bridal and the prices were about the same, so we got what we wanted and didn't have to settle. We looked at a number of other bridal shops locally and we did order one dress on the internet and it was great. She was also very helpful in ordering a second wedding dress for me at the last possible day and had it overnighted for me! I changed my mind at the last minute and it was a close call, but we pulled it all together and it went off without a hitch.

This was the best cake I've ever tasted, hands down. I mentioned to Lisa that I wanted 4 different flavors on a three layer cake and we did it! We split the bottom layer with 2 flavors and then I asked her to make one layer of almond cake w/canolli filling. It was to die for. She made it to look exactly like the pic I sent her and she delivered it to the reception site herself, which was an hour drive each way. Fantastic. Call Lisa Shepley at 478-256-8812. This golf resort is just beautiful. It sits right on Lake Oconee and the views are spectacular. We had a 3 day wedding, which consisted of a rehearsal dinner in one of the large homes for rent, which also doubled as a place for our children and grandchildren to stay. The next day there was golf and water sports and then the wedding itself which was on the lawn at the waters edge. The reception was under the tent behind the Waterside restaurant. We had approximately 50 people with a buffet dinner. The next day we had a beautiful brunch inside the restaurant before we all left to go home. (The price listed here was a real guess because we actually were there for 3 days and we also paid for housing and other rooms for family members for Friday, Sat. and Sunday, so it's hard to say what just the reception cost was.)

The weather was so hot and humid, we were all melting, but Jody just kept on taking those beautiful pictures in his soaking wet clothes! What a guy.
