Kevin did a great job capturing all the right moments and being as low key as a photographer can be. Pictures turned out great and we love looking at them whenever we feel like reliving the wedding. He has a good style and eye for interesting angles. He also did our engagement pictures and it was great to have both done in the same style.

Jerry did a good job writing the speech for ceremony – all of the guests had a few laughs and didn’t feel that it was long or boring. In fact we got quite a few comments on a good choice of person to lead the ceremony and on how fun it was.

Valerie is a professional makeup artist. Wedding makeup is one of her specialties. Valerie uses MAC cosmetics and she does a beautiful job!

Alina is a very talented and creative hairstylist. She has a very good taste and does an impressive job.

Practicing our first dance was so much fun! The studio is located in Pacific beach and open late and on the weekends. Our instructor Victoria was very patient and helpful.

Haydee was recommended by our close friend. She has tons of ideas and is a very easygoing person. We have ordered bride’s bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets and boutonnieres from this flower shop and were very happy with the results. Everything was ready on time and was beautifully crafted.

We have purchased invitations from Papyrus store and printed our own inserts.

Our wedding bands are from Blue Nile, as well as the engagement ring. We have selected this vendor as our jeweler because we liked both the quality and the prices. Blue Nile has an exceptional customer service and we had a wonderful experience purchasing our rings from them.

After visiting majority of local tuxedo shops I’ve realized that none of the suits were my size and that the quality was on the low side. At the end Hugo Boss Red label suit was purchased at Nordstroms.

Catering:

Catering is a part of Estancia’s wedding packages. Our wedding coordinator organized a food tasting for us to demonstrate what Estancia restaurant has to offer. Everything we’ve tried was amazing! We have to say the food at our wedding was the most delicious food we have tasted at the weddings.

Ceremony:

Our small wedding ceremony took place on the Olive Lawn. The size of the lawn was perfect for our party. The hotel provided us with everything we needed for the ceremony including chairs, tables, water station, and etc. The service was absolutely excellent and staff did everything to make our wedding trouble free.

Reception:

Reception was done at the Estancia in La Jolla – the location is really beautiful with many local flowers blooming at the time. We did it outdoors during mid afternoon and it was a good choice as the weather was perfect.

Wedding Night Hotel:

Estancia La Jolla Hotel and Spa offers relaxing atmosphere. Staying at the hotel was like a dream. We had a beautiful suite with a nice view. Hotel staff provided us with everything we needed to make the stay comfortable and unforgettable. We can’t wait to go back!
