We stayed here for three days after the wedding, and it was beautiful. It’s an older Victorian mansion that is set up as a guest house on a beautiful landscape. It was very romantic and also very clean, and not expensive, it was about $120 a night. The room looked like something out of an old romance novel, with high beds and dark wood floors. There is also a Jacuzzi tub, which was great! My husband and I just relaxed for two days, and even rented bikes from the inn and went bike riding with a picnic. It’s really the perfect spot if you can’t get out of town for a long honeymoon.

This was a last minute decision that was made by my husband’s mother. She asked how we would be getting to and from the church, and suggested that we get a limo. We ended up getting two limousines, just because I didn’t want to see my husband before I walked up the aisle. The limousine ride was great! I felt like a spy! My mother-in-law complained that the seats were too low and that she had trouble getting in and out of the limousine, but my husband told me the driver was very nice and helped her both in and out of the limousine. She was the only one who complained. I think a town car is better for older people.

I am giving the online wedding website 5 stars because it was a cheap and fast way of letting all of our friends and family know that we got engaged and had a date for the wedding ceremony. We made the site hours after the church confirmed our wedding date. We wanted a short engagement, so this was the perfect way of getting the message out. I really like save the day cards, but we just didn’t have enough time to make them and the wedding invitations. The site was free, easy to use, and we could post all the information that we needed. We could also go back and add more information, like where we registered.

I would give the team at Crossland’s Party World ten stars, because they did such a great job. We would be having the reception at my parent’s house, and we needed to rent a tent, chairs, tables, linen, etc. What I liked was that they told us to rent the minimum number of items (i.e.: estimate that we would have 100 guests rather than 150). We were told that it was always more easy to add than subtract items, and we paid a 50% deposit. I loved how efficient and great they were to work with. It was easy to see that they had years of experience in dealing with weddings, and had lots of great suggestions. They also suggested the DJ that we used, and gave us a great list of caterers to contact. The tent was great, the dance floor was perfect, and it was beautiful as it was stress free.

My parents insisted that we go here for the rehearsal dinner because it’s my favorite restaurant in Oklahoma city. I love the sushi and the atmosphere of Shiki! They also have the option of making reservations at one of the grill tables where the chefs cook the food for you and throw hot shrimp on your plate. I love this place! The only problem is that I’m pretty much the only one in my family that likes fish. It wasn’t hard for my family members to find things that they like, like the peanut chicken or steak, but they did make faces when they looked at the menu. But if I could do it again I would have insisted on a restaurant that serves food that everyone likes.

This was where my husband got his tuxedo for prom, so it was funny that he would also go here and get his tuxedo for his wedding. He said they have a great selection of suits, and that they also have the best prices when you compare the brand names to other tuxedo rental stores in the city. The other thing he liked was the “rent three, one free” policy, which means that his best man and groomsmen could get a deal on their suits.

My father suggested the Rib Crib as a catering place. At first I didn’t want ribs at my wedding, but then I saw the menu and catering options. It’s actually really good! They have a full menu option including bread and salads and baked potatoes, and then there are ½ pound meat options with ribs and steaks. There are lots of meat eaters in my family, but there are also lots of simple eaters in my family that just love a good meal over a fancy meal. Everything was delicious! We went to a restaurant and looked at the options, saw huge portions, and decided that it would be perfect. Two things to consider is that they don’t serve alcohol, so we did bring in a separate bar tender and we didn’t get desserts through the Rib Crib.

My cake was perfect. We choose Brown’s Bakery because they made the cake for a friend’s wedding, and we thought the cake looked and tasted great. We had a peach colored cake, the same color as the bridesmaid’s dresses, and it was chocolate with raspberry filling. We were also able to request small purple flowers to be painted along the side of the cake. We had no problem setting up an appointment or a tasting, and the cake was delivered at the house on the day of the wedding without incident.

I bought the most beautiful dresses for my bridesmaids here! I wanted the styles of the dress to be classic looking, something like from the 1940s, and I found the best dresses at J Crew. The store is pricy, but the dresses looked and fit great on the girls. The J Crew at Penn Square Mall has a good selection of J Crew items, though I wish they had more. I have been to J Crews in bigger cities and the selection is better, but you can still find nice stuff here.

I went dress shopping with my best friend and liked how David’s Bridal always had ongoing sales, and would always put last year styles on sale for half or less of what the dress original sold for. The staff is nice, but not as knowledgeable as the staff at other bridal stores I went to. I found a dress in a lace style that looked beautiful. The only drawback was that it needed lots of alteration in the bust and length.
