Lady Jane was good, but not someone I would particularly rave about. She did a decent job. When I first brought my dress to her, she really had me worried because she said that she wouldn't be able to shorten my dress due to the embroidery on the bottom. She ended up taking it up from the waist, but then she needed to re-do the seams so that it would match up with the seams on the bodice part. The work was good enough, but not quite perfect.

Mission 261 is a pretty nice restaurant with more a picturesque setting than your standard Chinese restaurant. We might use Mission 261 for our rehearsal dinner.

Cherry is very energetic and cute. She only MCs, but has a DJ with whom she works with. Her prices even with the DJ are reasonable. If you're into Chinese wedding games, then you should definitely look into her. She has many new games, but she won't tell you what they are. However, you can specify whether you want something tame or something wild. She also does wedding planning and invitations.

Jack is the most Americanized bilingual DJ/MC we came across. His prices are some of the most reasonable that I've seen (not dirt cheap, but still reasonable). He might be a good fit if you're more or less Americanized, but want to keep your family entertained and happy. I believe he also has a Vietnamese DJ/MC with whom he works with, if you need Vietnamese language.

We met with Matthew. He was professional and his pictures were good. His pricing is pretty good and was running a discount when we met with him. If his prices are just a little over your budget, check to see if he's running any discounts or promotions. He was also bilingual in Mandarin and English.

We met with one of their photographers, Henry, and were very impressed by his work. He was also bilingual in Mandarin and English. The only drawback was that they were out of our budget by a lot.

Taipei-LA offers affordable packages and gives you a lot for your money. They offer a decent sized album even with their cheapest package. They have bilingual photographers

This bridal salon is fairly small. I went around picked out the dresses I wanted to try on and got into them myself. Their staff did not help me into the dresses, but they did help put dresses away. They also do not try to sell you or pressure you to buy anything.

This bridal salon is large and has a great selection of affordable dresses. Their service was pretty standard. They help you get the dresses from the rack and help you get into them in the dressing rooms. They do not try to sell you or pressure you to buy anything.

This is the only vendor that we think we made a mistake hiring. We booked Jim, because of his very easygoing and friendly personality. Unfortunately, neither Yun nor I are religious and had originally asked him for a non-religious ceremony. Despite having gone over the words of the ceremony over email beforehand, there were some surprises on the day of the wedding and we felt in the end that the ceremony didn't accurately reflect us. Communication with him is okay over phone and email. He doesn't usually reply immediately, but he will eventually reply in a few days. If you are religious, I would still highly recommend Jim. He does make and effort to get to know the couples he marries and he is very warm and personable.
