We have both lived in Florida for most of our lives, and we had NEVER once been to Disney World. So we decided that for our honeymoon, we would treat ourselves to 3 days at Disney. It was just so much fun going from park to park. I definitely felt like such a kid posing with Mickey and Goofy and Stitch (and other characters). We both had so much fun that we can't wait to go back again!

I caught my wife looking at a pair of earrings on Blue Nile one day, and I could tell that she really liked them. When I showed them to her best friend, she commented that my wife really wanted to wear them for our wedding, but that she wasn't going to purchase them because she couldn't afford them. So I decided that I would purchase them for her as my wedding gift. I had it delivered to her with flowers as she was getting ready, and her friends told me that she couldn't stop crying after she saw them! I was very pleased with the delivery from Blue Nile, and the customer service rep that I spoke with was courteous.

My wife is in the music program at UCF, so she asked the quartet there that plays for weddings on the side. We were very lucky to be able to book them, not only because their price was definitely within our budget, but because they added a very special and nice touch that everyone enjoyed. I remember standing at the altar started to sweat (part because it was HOT, and part because I was so nervous and excited), then I focused in on their beautiful music and managed to calm down. Having a live band at your wedding adds to the ambiance!

Taking care of a limo was the one thing that was assigned to me, so I wanted to make sure I didn't screw it up. I got a lot of recommendations for different limo companies, but settled on Enroute after doing my research. We were very pleased with the limo that transported us after the wedding to our hotel. The limo was clean, the driver was nice, and we were happy with everything.

Because of our budget-constraints for our wedding, we just couldn't afford the photographer that we really wanted. That was okay though, because our coordinator recommended JD, and we are glad that we went with him! All we wanted was someone to talk phenomenal photos and do the editing, then just giving us everything on a CD so that we could print ourselves. JD must have taken close to 800 photos, and he told us to select our favorite 350 that he edited. He also gave us every single photo on a CD, and we were very happy! Plus, he was there at our wedding the entire day! My wife wanted pictures of the both of us getting ready, so he was there for that. He was there also until the very end of the night as he got great photos of our exit! All that and we only spent $750!

We selected Leu Gardens as the site for our wedding, not only because we love going there together just to walk through the gardens, but it is very close to where we live. Our first date was on August 9, 2005, so we decided to have our wedding on August 9, 2008. We were skeptical at first because it was going to be during summer, but we decided to go ahead. Yes, it was hot, but the site is very beautiful, and we know that our guests loved it as well.

I had it drilled into my head that my wife wanted a princess-cut diamond on white gold. I wanted to be able to have her perfect ring customized so that she knew it came from my heart, and I was very happy to find it on Amazon.com. I had seen this particular engagement ring at a local jewelery store, but it was out of my budget, so I thought that I would save up a little more in order to be able to afford that ring from there. I did have my wife's best friend out helping me, and she said that after our stop at the store she would also help me out more by seeing if she could find it online cheaper, and she did! I have always been happy with my other purchases from Amazon.com, and purchasing the engagement ring from there was no different! I was very surprised to see that they had a great variety of rings to choose from as well, and many of them are very affordable!

My bride and I did not want us to look like penguins, so we decided on nice dark suits that went with the wedding colors. I didn't want to rent a tux or suit, so I was very surprised and pleased by the variety of suits they had to purchase. We decided on a very nice dark suit, and my bride selected the matching vest, tie and shirt to go along with it. (She did the opposite colors for my guys.) I must admit though, we all looked good in the suits. I was very pleased with the service received by the salespeople at Men's Wearhouse. They were very helpful, understanding of our budget, and very professional to work with.

My wife is very simple and laid-back to the point where she didn't feel like she wanted a real wedding gown to wear. I think that was in part because our budget got cut in half. I really wanted her to be happy with everything, so as a birthday gift from all of us, we pooled our monies together (myself, her maid of honor, our parents) and had her select the gown that she wanted from David's Bridal. This was very easy to do as I had called ahead to the store at the Mall at Millenia, explained what was going on and they scheduled an appointment for her. They only pulled dresses that she wanted within the "budget" we had, and she was so surprised and very touched by what we had done. She wanted me to stay there with her, but I firmly said no as I wanted to be completely taken-aback when I saw my bride walking down the aisle. She said that she receive superior service from the gals at David's Bridal, and I am very happy that they took great care of her!
