We hired Carina as our day of coordinator and glad we did. I don't know how we could have done it without it. Planning a wedding is difficult enough but executing it? Nightmare. She was very calm which certainly helped this nervous bride.
Mick was fantastic during all the planning up to the wedding. He was very meticulous about creating the right atmosphere that we wanted for our wedding. He also really seemed to enjoy the fact that my husband was going to write the ceremony music and discussed with him, in detail, about how it would play out.
During the wedding (which took place in 3 locations) he was careful to balance the music to set the correct ambiance in each place. Also he was very friendly with our guests when they would request songs.
The only mark against him, which seems like it was a technical error was the song for Bride's Entrance to the ceremony. Knowing how hard my husband worked on writing the music cue I was heart broken for him when I walked up in the aisle in silence. The cue started too early and wasn't long enough and instead of looping the entire song, like he told my husband he would do, he looped the last note several times and then just faded the song out... this is before I approached the aisle. In our wedding video all our guests heads were turned and they were whispering to each other about their being something wrong with the music. Again, it was probably a technical error but it was the one cue you really want to make sure happens right. The rest of the wedding was flawless...

I'll probably end up echoing what everyone else has said. There is a reason he is the best and has so many awards. What I didn't realize was how much fun he was to talk to and plan the wedding flowers with... and most importantly how reasonably priced!!! At the wedding, every table we went to, the guests would point at the centerpieces and exclaim "these are amazing! who arranged these?!" Our ceremony arch was perfect and I adored my bouquet. Hurry and book him!

I can't get over how talented Monique is! I'm not a person who wears much make-up so I was a little nervous about having my make-up done for the wedding. As soon as I met Monique, before I even sat in her chair I realized I was nervous for no reason. She was 100% focused on finding a look that I was comfortable with, and not selling me on something that just "looks good in photos." The look we chose, was both! And it lasted well into the morning after the wedding - with no need to reapply anything. She's patient and responsive and extremely professional. You will be happy you chose her.

Chailling did my hair and hair and make up for my mother and my mother-in-law. I will echo many of the other reviews about Chailling being professional, very attentive to detail and talented. What I can add is that she has a wonderful personality that is extremely calming. You have enough to stress about when choosing vendors for your wedding - this one was a no-brainer. She was professional, honest, extremely reasonably priced and was so flexible and willing to do a couple of hair trials until we were both really happy. One thing she told me is that she wanted me to LOVE my hair, not just be OK with it. And she was willing to put a lot of time into getting us all to love our hair. We all LOVED our hair and make up. You will too if you choose Chailling.

We purchased our wedding bands at Icing on the Ring a few months back during one of their popular sales. The sales people were very pleasant, not pushy and informative about their selections. After the rings we ordered were ready for us to pick up, they didn't call us as they said they would, but that didn't bother us because we were just excited to pick up the rings.
My mistake: I got my engagement ring resized there (being unable to take it back to where it was purchased). IOTR did not sell rings with the type of setting that my engagement ring was so I should have done my homework and looked elsewhere.
Their mistake: A sales associate told me that they could absolutely resize my engagement ring without issue. Well there were issues. The prongs holding the gems were broken twice during the resizing so, in good customer service practice, the owner offered to hand deliver the ring to me 2 days later when it was fixed. A couple days after receiving the ring, a prong broke again. (it had been perfectly fine the previous 6 months I wore it. just a 1/4 size too big) After I brought it back again, the owner took the defensive and told me my ring was "made bad" and that the prong braking off was my fault and he would have never agreed to take on this resize if he met us in the beginning. i was shocked and offended. They could have saved me (a ring buying novice) a lot of trouble and headache if they just said "sorry, we don't resize rings with this setting" from the beginning.
Overall, despite the niceties in the beginning, it was not a pleasant experience and I would not recommend this place. There are plenty of other decent choices available downtown and I would recommend going elsewhere.
