Debra was very professional. We met with her and went over the main shots we wanted, pricing, and picked the album we wanted. She did create a proof book for us so we can order more pictures at any time. She was very good at getting all the photos done quickly so our guests were not waiting too long at the reception. I do wish she had taken more candid shots. Overall, we have a beautiful album for a fair price.

My invitations came from Party City. They had many books of invitations to choose from. I liked the style we chose but they were a little slow on getting them printed. They did make some minor mistakes so we had to have them reprint. Overall, they were a good price and we did have them in plenty of time to send out.

I couldn’t image a better honeymoon! Royal Caribbean makes you feel like you are the only guests on the boat. In addition to all the activities and excursions that are normally offered, they also have honeymooner activities and parties. We ported at Jamaica, Haiti, Mexico, and Grand Cayman. Each port had something different to offer but just being on the boat was a good time too.

The DJ at our wedding was awesome! First, we pre-picked a list of songs that we wanted played throughout the night off of a list he gave us months prior to the big day. He also helped keep the wedding events moving. He announced us when we first came in and did some special announcements we planned ahead of time. Everyone danced the whole night.

The Japanese Gardens at Maymont Park are a dream wedding. Depending on the time of year, there are a variety of flowers blooming, creating such a colorful event. There is also a long walkway for the bride to walk down and at the end there is a gazebo, which is where we actually got married. The only downside is that there is not a lot of room for chairs so many of my guests had to stand in the gardens. We had a short ceremony it wasn’t too much of a problem, but it could be for a longer service.

Incredible Edibles did a fantastic job with the drink and food for our wedding. We chose heavy hors d’Oeuvres and beer/wine to be served. The food was plenty and varied from crab stuffed mushrooms to peanut chicken. They served a couple different kinds of beer and wine. I also liked that they started serving as soon as guests arrived to the reception instead of making anyone wait. Their prices are reasonable.

Ukrop’s Bakery is already known for excellent food so we knew they would be a good choice for the wedding cake. They have several styles to choose from or you can create your own style. They gave us quite a few books to look at to help us make a decision. We ended up going with a basket weave cake. It was intricate in detail, decorated with our flowers, and the pound cake recipe they use is delicious!

David’s Bridal has such a great collection of bridal dresses. I bought the dress of my dreams, my shoes, and headpiece all for under $800. I felt like such a princess in my dress and I have never seen anyone with a dress like mine. I highly recommend taking a look before going to an overpriced smaller bridal boutique.

David’s Bridal was a good choice for my bridesmaid dresses. They ordered all the girl’s dresses together to make sure they came from the same dye lot. My maid of honor wore a completely different dress and we got that one from David’s too. The dresses were a bit expensive, coming in at $300 a piece. I was hoping to get a better price but they were absolutely beautiful and many of their designs fit each of my girls even though each girl has a different shape.

Tiki Bobs was so much fun for my bachelorette party. We had a group of 10 girls and they catered to us all night. My girls bought me special drinks, we danced all night, and the bartenders joked around with us and just made the night extra special. We felt like VIPs!!
