We had a 7-piece band for our reception, and they were fantastic! I can't count the number of guests who commented on what a great band we had. Everything was really well planned out ahead of time, which made for a smooth party. The band leader was great, and they had all of our guests (both young-ish and old) up and dancing the whole night. Highly recommend.

I had a string trio for my ceremony, and everything was just perfect. Pat was very easy to work with, and the musicians showed up on time and looked and sounded great. They are a class act, and reasonably priced as well!

I worked with Beverly, and overall was quite pleased. She was definitely not the least expensive person we met with, but she will work within any budget. After I hired her, she built two sample centerpieces for us to review. There were things about them that we definitely did not like, but the best part was that she was happy to make any changes we wanted. She took a lot of time with us, and we did not leave the store until we had the centerpiece looking just the way we wanted.

On the day of, the colors for some of the aisle decor were a bit different from what we had discussed, but it still looked great. The chuppah and centerpieces were absolutely gorgeous.

This is the one wedding-related expense that I regret. The dance lessons were VERY expensive, and after taking 6 of them, we ultimately decided to abandon the dance routine for our wedding. Our original instructor failed to focus on a lot of details (e.g. certain steps that you can't do because you are in a big poofy dress, the amount of space that will be available on the dance floor, etc.). It was also very crowded, so you had to try to learn your routine without getting to hear your music. Our last two lessons with a different instructor were much better...might have been a better overall experience if we'd had all 6 lessons with her.

At the last minute, we decided to do some lighting for our outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. Brandon was extremely easy to work with, and the lighting made all the difference in the world. I spoke with several lighting companies, and Brandon was the one who was able to meet my budget while making sure the lighting looked amazing and elegant!

Beautiful, amazing service, spectacular food...could not have been better, and I highly recommend them. They are truly full-service -- we did not need to hire a wedding coordinator because our catering manager did everything for us.

I had a great experience with Rosebud. We paid for our cake during their July discount period, and it saved us a lot of money. Our cake was gorgeous and delicious!

I also had Rosebud make a Red Sox themed groom's cake, and it was spectacular!

I had a great experience with Lili's. Everyone there is very friendly and helpful; even the people who were not "my" salesperson would come by and check things out...and offer help and support. They were also happy to stay within my budget. I just finished my third (and final) fitting, and can honestly say that the whole experience has been great.

Karin does AMAZING calligraphy. People have told me that they are saving the envelopes from our invitations because the calligraphy is too beautiful to throw away! Karin is a pleasure to work with, and has been doing calligraphy for over 30 years.

I am not a DIY-er, so I went into several stores to look through huge books of invitations. It was a time-consuming process! A friend then referred me to Patti at Creative Invitations in Woodland Hills. She was great to work with -- she had all of the same invitations books as the other stores, but really helped me to narrow things down. She was very patient! The best part is that Patti offers a significant discount off of all of the prices listed in the books; this not only makes her competitive with online retailers, but you get the personal attention as well. Highly recommend.
