For our wedding night stay, we had a theme room and it was amazing. It sounds cheesy, but there were trees in the room and mirrors, and there were steps up to the bed. It was more exciting than just going back to a regular hotel room after all the excitement of the wedding and reception. We also had a private jacuzzi in our room. Everything was very clean but the hotel is just old looking.

I think that they pushed us to choose certain resorts and certain packages that were more expensive. I understand that is their business, but I did not feel that they were looking for our best interests and they did not even pretend to be! We did get a very nice honeymoon package and we were happy with the arrangements, though.

The reception was just fine. The only problem I had was with the woman I had to deal with when I booked it. She was rude and impatient and did not seem to care about my concerns. The only reason I still booked it was because I had been to other receptions there and they seemed fine. It was in our price range and the food was very good.

A wonderful experience from start to finish. This all-inclusive five star resort took excellent care of us. There is a private beach and there are also so many activities available and five restaurants to choose from on the property. We enjoyed our stay and would love to go back again. We don't normally spend that much money on vacations but it was an amazing experience.

I had no problems with booking this hotel block for my guests. They delivered the gifts to my guests as I requested and everyone was happy staying there!

I had silk flowers at my wedding and no one could tell! Not even the photographer, until he took my bouquet to do something with it. They were almost the same cost as real flowers but I wanted something that I knew would be exactly what I expected. They let me look at all the bouquets before the wedding. They also hung the pew bows and pinned boutonnieres before the ceremony for a minimal extra cost.

Our DJ was great. I specified that I wanted someone “classy” and they sent a very polite young man in a tuxedo. He called me prior to the event and discussed exactly what music I wanted. He played appropriate background music throughout dinner and then got everyone out on the dance floor and helped us to have a fun evening. The thing I thought was strange was, he kept asking me to have dinner or drinks with him prior to the wedding so that we could discuss exactly what I wanted him to do at the reception.
I also had them do my videography- What a pain. The videographer did not get some of the important events of the reception. The sound on the video was horrible. He also did some funny things with the editing. When I asked if they could be fixed he basically told me it was too bad, that it was finished and I paid for it and they didn't guarantee that I would like it. I would not ever use them again for video.

We had the ceremony at our church, so it was not a big decision for us. We were happy with how everything turned out. The girls and guys were both given large rooms to get ready. The church provided a wedding coordinator which cost $100 extra, I think. The staff seemed to work hard to make it a nice day for us. The lighting and sound were fine, and we were able to use the alter flowers for free.

My cake was included in the reception price if I had it made by Cakes By Elaine. She did a great job. She works out of her home, but her cakes are amazing. We chose a chocolate cake with raspberry filling and buttercream icing because we wanted something different. Quite a few people told us it was the best tasting wedding cake they had ever had. The cake looked beautiful and she made fondant flowers on the top that matched my wedding bouquet perfectly. She was very easy to work with and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a cake decorator.

I had one of my bridal showers at The Veranda in Town and Country, MO. It is now The Hearth room but seems very similar and they have not changed the dining area itself. It is a cute tearoom type atmosphere and they did a great job with our group of about 25 women. We had custom menus with our lunch choices, and they had waitresses serving tea and soft drinks on trays during the first part of the shower. My maid of honor told me their prices were very reasonable and they were easy to work with.
