I loved Yvonne's work based on her website. When I saw the flowers, they were even better than I had imaged! The colors were so vibrant and the flowers were so healthy. WOW! I highly recommend Yvonne!

This place was a great find for my mani/pedi. They pampered me and my nails looked great in the photos. YEAY!

Everything about our stay at the Halekulani was impecable! From the moment we checked in the front desk made a fuss over our upcoming wedding and upgraded our room. (I wish the airline had upgraded us!) The staff was fantastic at every point.

Our reception was on the Hau Terrace, which had a great view of the ocean. Everyone was talking about how we shared paradise with them for the wedding, so it was obviously a huge hit and impressed our guests. I'm also happy to say that the food was fantastic. The price was right without ever feeling like we were skimping. Janet Howser, the catering director, will be a great friend to you through the whole process. We're already excited to go back for our anniversary!

This cookies are so good that they should be against the law! You will savor every bite of these delicious treats. You even get free samples when you go to the factory. Your guests will LOVE these as favors!

This place is strange. When i walked in a noticed a DOG wandering through the store. A nappy, dirty dog. What kind of way is this to sell wedding gowns?

The sales clerk was okay, but I really wasn't impressed with the service. The only reason they got 2 stars is because they had some snacks out for family members. Unless you need a snack, skip this place. I bet the dresses have flees!

Oh my god, this place has EVERYTHING! I was able to channel my inner Martha Stewart and came up with tons of great personal touches for the wedding after walking through this store. Ton of vases at great prices, ribbons, decor items, etc. This place is a DIY brides dream!

This small shop was a completely random find. (Truth be told, we were kind of lost, but my hubby will never admit that!) Once we got inside there were all sorts of cool things. Think of it as a more unique JoAnn Etc or Ben Franklin. Awesome paper crafts! I got some things to customize my place cards and our guest book... and for my wedding scrap book. :)

Phil's was a great find from our scouting trip! We rented 5 tuxes, so we got one free. The prices were great and we still feel like a got a great value. This was also easier than renting tuxes at home and then trying to pack them for the trip, etc.

Here's how it worked: my hubby got his measurements taken while we were in the store. The rest of the guys had to go to get their measurements at local shops and simply faxed them over. When everyone got to Hawaii they came in for a final fitting and took the tuxes with them. There were only minor changes -- different shirt for one groomsman, and bigger shoes for the other.

Phil's made this really easy. I highly recommend them!

While we were out in Hawaii we decided to try on dresses since this was right at Ward Center.

Even though I didn't get my gown here I wanted to review them because the owner gave GREAT customer service. Really friendly and I could tell she was genuinely interested in helping me. I didn't get the feeling that she was trying to 'sell' me anything. She also let us take photos in the dresses, which was really cool! Is that a Hawaii thing?

We had a lot of fun in this shop and it was a great experience.

I was disappointed. We heard such good things about this restaurant, but it just seemed kind of blah next to the other places we went on our trip. Mostly because the food was just not special and nothing was particularly flavorful. For the money (about $50 a head) it just wasn't worth it.
