I found the cutest family tree frame at Tings Remembered, and we made this central at our guestbook table. I used to think that Things Remembered had really tacky stuff, but lots of their things are perfect for wedding. I got a picture of each member of my immediate family and my husband’s immediate family, and placed them somewhere on the tree. There was a few extra places so I added pictures of some pets. It was great, people loved seeing our families together like that, and I loved that it was something we could bring home afterwards. It’s in our living room now.

I had a few art classes in college, and I know this art store really well. I am friends with a few people who still work there, and they were able to give me good suggestions on what to buy to make wedding save-the-date cards. I love the fact that if they don’t know the answer to one of your questions, they will find someone right away to answer the question. One thing is that I had supplies to make really nice Save the Date cards, and I would have made my own wedding cards, but it took forever. I had my mother and sister help with these cards, but we agreed to order the actual invitations.

We didn’t do a traditional rehearsal dinner with family, rather we had a huge gathering of our friends. Our wedding date also coordinated with our 10th year high school reunion, so many people were happy to see each other again. We chose this tapas bar because my husband and I did meet while on exchange in Spain when we each did a semester abroad. We went to the same college, but didn’t know of each other until we got to Spain. The restaurant is amazing, one of our favorite romantic spots. I like that because it is also a lounge, you don’t really need reservations and people were able to show up when they liked.

My husband’s parents suggested this place, and while it was on the expensive side, I think the fact that both families agreed to pay half for the event made it very feasible. It was very easy to spend money on this night, but they were professionals and the whole evening came together liked they promised. It’s a beautiful location, it’s glamorous and the whole evening ran so smoothly. I think the staff is amazing, too. The food was great, everything was great.

We stayed at one of the rooms at the Inn, mainly because we were right there and it made more sense to stay in one of those rooms than drive somewhere else. It was good having a room there because we were also able to store all our wedding gifts and favors. The room was modern and elegent.

My husband said he had something to wear, and at the last minute people found out he was wearing a suit and not a tuxedo. It was three weeks before the wedding, and we were nervous that we wouldn’t find a place that could rent him a tuxedo. We called here first, and they said it wouldn’t be a problem. Vittorio’s was where my brother-in-law picked up his suit. They were able to fit him in for a fitting and he was able to get a really nice tuxedo. It was so important that he had a tuxedo, considering how fancy the event was. I appreciated also they didn’t try to charge us extra for last minute rental.

Because my bridesmaids were wearing really simple dresses, I spoke with my mother and husband to be and we agreed it would be nice to get them matching pendants. I chose to get them from Zales because the style I wanted was simple enough, but also because I did want a real diamond. They have really nice drop pendants that are really beautiful and still youthful. I didn’t want to get costume jewelry from some department store. The girls loved their gifts. I can see them wearing these necklaces for many special events.

I chose this company to work with because another bride in my office had her cards made here. There was a big selection to chose from, and the staff was nice enough. It was obvious they were very competent people. It was easy to book an appointment, and they were very eager to meet my availability. I thought they did a nice job on the invitations, but I think that the save-the-date cards I made myself were nicer. I think if I had more time and skill I would have made my own cards.

My husband and I wanted to get married in a church, but it was really our parents that wanted the wedding to take place in the church. This wasn’t our family church, but it is a beautiful church and my parent’s really wanted it here. It worked out fine, but we did have to change the date of our wedding to meet the church’s availability. St-Mary’s is beautiful. Anne-Marie, who was a primary contact point, was wonderful and so kind to us. She really was the one that made the day wonderful.

I wanted to have an alluring dress, and my bridesmaids also wanted to have super sexy dresses. We went to Express and they have some sexy and over the top dresses. I didn’t want my bridesmaids wearing dresses that we would have gone to clubs wearing. In the end they found these really chic and sexy black dresses at the New York & Co store. The dresses were amazing, very short, no straps, but it was styled in such a way that the girls just looked beautiful. The dresses didn’t have all these weird details, which is what made the dresses nice. My mom approved, which is why they were allowed to get the dresses.

I did order my dress online because there was nothing I saw in any of the local bridal stores that matched what I wanted. I was also limited in choices because my mother wanted me to wear something conservative beacsue the ceremony would also be in a church. I was so nervous ordering my dress online, but it showed up and it was fine. I had found my dress looking through bridal magazine, and it took me almost six months of looking before I found the one I wanted. Overall, this website is pretty good. It’s easy enough to use, and they make it hard to make mistakes about your size and the style of the dress you want. It’s like it’s dumb bride idiot proof.
