My husband and I could not decide where to hold our rehersal dinner so we left it up to my soon to be father in law since he was picking up the bill. He told us that he had reserved Chili's. Needless to say, I was freaking out. However, I was pleasantly surprised with how great it was. The atmosphere was fun and calm, unlike how it would have been in an upscale restaraunt.

I know that alot of women would prefer to avoid going to a chain bridal store but my experience was wonderful. I had picked out and purchased my wedding gown about a month after out engagement. Surprise to me, I was pregnant. I panicked and tried really hard not to gain too much weight and worked like crazy to lose the baby weight after the delivery because of a no refunds no exchanges policy. Anyway, a week before the wedding I went in for my final fit and found out that the dress fit everywhere except in the bust (thanks to breast feeding). After knots in my stomach and some tears that women came to my rescue and ordered me another dress in the correct size even though their policy strictly prohibited it. They saved my wedding day.

After Hours caught our attention because it was one stop shopping. However, it did not turn out that great. When the guys went to pick up there tuxes, none were the correct fit. The pants and jackets were either too large or way too small. And worst of all, the grooms tuxedo looked the worst out of the bunch.

A friend of my brother that worked at Rapunzel's salon found out that I could not afford to have my makeup done so I would have to try and do my own. My brother picked me up the morning of the wedding and drove me over to Rapunzels. She had spoken with the owner and they all agreed to do my makeup and pamper me for free. What a wonderful start to a stressful day.

The day before my wedding, the salon I was supposed to get my hair done for cancelled my appointment. I was freaking out trying to find a reputable salon that would not cost a fortune. I talked with the owner of Sol lei luna and although she was booked, fit me into the schedule. They treated me wonderfully and my hair turned out perfect.

Our wedding turned out wonderful thanks to the staff at Pinecrest. Included in the price was all the center peices, food and dsesert, linens, and top shelf liquor bar. The cocktail hour started in a very large room with high tables and two bars with staff handing out hoursdvours. In the center of the room was a beautiful spread of appetizers to choose from. For the reception we moved into an even larger room elegantly decorated. The table were spread nicely apart so you weren't tripping on chairs around you. Staff was constantly checking on you to see if you needed anything. The night made it very enjoyable. I didn't have to worry about a thing except myself.

What a mess. All of the dresses were ordered in the wrong size for all three girls. They arrived balled up in plastic bags and were a wrinkled mess. If that wasn't enough, they refused to reorder the correct sizes for the bridesmaids. Never go there!

We had the best DJ in the world. He followed all of our outragous requests and found hard to find oldies songs that we had requested. He really enhanced the mood of the evening and played appropriate music during appropriate times throughout the night. He even stayed an extra hour without making us pay. I would definatley recommed The Pros for your DJ.

I could not have found a better florist for our bouquets. One of the groomsmen's father owns the florist. We were on a really tight budget to work with and he made it work. We first worked out my bouquet and then the bridemaides flowers. Lastly we settled on the flowers for the men. I could not have asked for more beautiful flowers. They looked like they cost well over a thousand dollars. It's amazing what can be acomplished with such a small budget and a business that is willing to work around it.
