Let me just say that if you want peace of mind and great, professional customer service, do NOT, I repeat, do NOT, use Pedestals as your florist. Here is the list of things that went wrong when it came to my flowers:
1. Pre-wedding - My consultant called me two days before my wedding saying that they cannot provide MY bouquet that I requested. TWO DAYS BEFORE!! He said that they received the flowers but it wasn’t dyed in the right color and that it did not come out pretty. I tried to understand his reasoning as to why he couldn’t do anything about it even though he still had two days left, but it did not make sense. Instead, he offered me an alternative bouquet that best matched my color theme. Reluctantly, I agreed, considering I had so many other things to take care of.
2. Day of wedding – I was told by my consultant when we went in for our final meeting that ALL of my flowers will be at the reception site by 4:30pm (my ceremony started at 7pm). But that was not the case. The boutonnieres for my husband and his groomsmen as well as my centerpieces were no where to be found. So from 5pm until my ceremony, I was going crazy. I had my bridal attendant and family members calling Pedestals but of course they were closed. You have enough stress on the day of your wedding but to have this happen is ridiculous. My centerpieces and boutonnieres finally were delivered – at 8PM. Pedestals caused me such unnecessary stress on the day of my wedding that I could not possibly relax. This is UNACCEPTABLE.
3. Post wedding – My husband and I go to the Pedestals showroom the day after the wedding to get an explanation of what happened. I could not believe the things that happened in the manager’s office. The manager, if you want to call him that, threatened to call the police if I didn’t calm down and actually picked up the phone pretending to dial. He showed complete disrespect by not even talking to me and talking to my husband when I’m the one who was talking to him. He blamed my reception site for the late delivery saying that my reception site was the one who told them to re-deliver the centerpieces at 8pm. How bad business is that when my reception site had Pedestals listed as one of their preferred florists?! Just pass the buck to someone else… I had asked for a refund on my bouquet since it’s not what I wanted. After trying to convince me of how beautiful it was, he then offered me half the refund and he’ll let me keep it. Why in the world would I want to keep that?? This shocked him for some reason. He finally agreed to give me the full refund of the bouquet and then he takes my bouquet and opens a back door that led to the warehouse and literally chucks my bouquet to throw it out. I could not believe his unprofessionalism. But at this point, my husband and wanted to cut our losses short and just be done with them.
I hope reading my story helps you make your decision. I would never want another bride to experience what I went through. And that is why I would never recommend Pedestals to anyone.
