I went into the shop on 3/21/2009 and had an appointment set-up for that date at 10:00am. Me and my mother walk into the shop and the lady at the front counter did not greet me or my mother we were not acknowledged until the consultant that I set-up a appointment with said Hello to me & my mother. While trying on some dresses we found a dress and it was a discontinued item so I went upstairs to get some alterations done and the seamstress kept saying that I did not have any shoes and could not get alterations done but all I wanted to do was change the top of the dress to a sweet heart top. I advised the seamstress that I had advised her that I did not have any shoes and that I was only trying to get the top of the dress altered. I asked for a manager and the alterations manager came over and asked how should could assist but I have to say that the alterations manager was standing there all that time and never step in while the seamstress was yelling at me about some shoes. I advised the manager of my issues about the alterations consultant and the rude service I received when we first walk in and did not receive any Customer Service until the consultant I had an appointment with acknowledged me and my mom. I advised the manager that every other customer that walked through there door who was not of my ethnicity was greeted and treated like a customer should be treated. The Owner of the shop was down stairs and her nor the alterations manager ever said sorry for the rude service we received from every one in the shop other than the consultant we had the appointment with. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS BRIDAL SHOP TO ANYONE UNLESS THEY ARE APART OF A PRIVILLAGED GROUP.
