Allen Layton is the Wedding King!

As a professional photographer, I worked with Allen at a wedding four years ago and was so impressed by his organization at the reception, his performance, music selection and really, just his kindness that I refer him whenever I can.

I got married on March 21, 2009 and Allen was the first person I called. We felt so lucky to get him because I know how busy he is! I don't know what we would've done without him!

Allen goes the extra mile. During the planning, he is excellent about keeping in touch and making sure your needs are met. His timeline and questionaire are well thought out and make it easy to visualize how the event will unfold.

During the reception, he made sure that we ate, which may sound silly but at the time was very much appreciated! He had a great game with the centerpieces, organized the toasts, was fun with the flower/ garter tosses, and had a good mix of slow and upbeat dances. He really keeps a watch on the time and makes sure that we do everything that we planned and keeps the reception on schedule. Our reception was fantastic.

Also, Allen has a really sophisticated and great sounding PA sound system, microphones and lighting system. It seems like he invests well in his gear and makes sure everything is working at full performance.

As for music, Allen has an incredibly deep catalog to choose from. We wanted a lot of obscure 50's rock, 60's reggae and specific jazz cuts and if Allen didn't have it, he was super cool about us sending him a disk and working the tracks in. He really wanted us to be happy with our music and make sure everything got played.

We felt that he understood us and our musical tastes and he chose an awesome mix for the dancing. Allen has a great ear and excellent taste for all genres. It was fun talking to him about what directions we thought the music should go and was very considerate to our guests.

Most importantly, Allen Layton is really cares. He loves weddings and genuinely wants to do a great job. I am so happy that he DJ'd our wedding and am happy that he is my wife and my friend. Allen Layton is the real deal!
