I got a quote from them for 5 bouquets, 8 boutineers, and 5 corsages. Everything was red and white roses with chocolate brown ribbon wrapped around the bouquets. They seemed to be very reasonably priced. I was surprised at how high it was initally....but I dind't know what kind of figure to expect. After shopping around, I am definitely going to get them to do my flowers.

I was helping my friend book her hotels (blocking off rooms for guests for the wedding), and we had to give a credit card number to secure the rooms. She didn't have a credit card, so we used mine. We got told that if she needed to cancel, to call beforehand and cancel the booking. I think it was 24 hours beforehand....
Well, nobody ended up booking a hotel room there, and my friend called in to cancel the rooms a few hours late, and I ended up getting charged $1000 on my credit card for rooms that nobody stayed in! My friend payed me back of course, but that's horrible! I know that she called late, but really, $1000 seems unreasonable. I can see maybe a couple hundred dollars...but wow!

We got quoted $119 per room (with 2 beds). The staff was friendly with me on the phone, and answered all of my questions. I never reserved the rooms however, as I am still phoning around getting quotes from places....

I went to Staples and photocopied all of the information to go into the invites, and the invitation's text onto paper I had bought elsewhere. It came back looking great, and was super easy to do. I even got them professionally cut there, so I didn't have to go home and make a mess of everything with my scissors!

I just purchased all of the paper, ribbon, decorative hole punch, hot glue gun and sticks at Michael's. They had a great selection of paper and ribbons, so I got exactly what I was dreaming of for the invites!

We checked into this site, but it's extremely hard to book, as it's very popular. So I suggest if you have your heart set on this place, book really early. We missed out on it. Great place for guests to stay though, as it's a gorgeous hotel. The staff are very friendly, and helpful. And, Botanica serves AMAZING food.

Gave me amazing ideas for what I wanted at the wedding for bridesmaid dresses, flowers, and I picked my colours that day too. It helped me narrow down kind of what I want for my wedding dress, but I'm still deciding bewteen 2 styles. I also won Dj services for the wedding!

This was so much fun for one of my girlfriend's bachelorette parties a few years ago. It was discreet, educational, and fun. I loved the whole idea of it so much that I'm definitely doing one before I get married. The prices were very reasonable too...

We went to Peoples in Edmonton to buy my fiance's engagement ring. Everyone seemed genuinely happy to help and give us their opinions, which was great, because we didn't know what we really wanted or much of anything about cut, clarity, carats, or rings for that matter! We ended up finding an amazing ring that my fiance loves, and it wasn't too bad of a price.

I went into Ben Moss in the Midtown Mall in Saskatoon by myself to pick out a style of engagement ring. My fiance had wanted a few ideas and wanted me to just tell him where to go for it. Well I walked in and looked at a ring and fell in love with it. It took me 5 minutes to get the saleslady's attention. When she did come over to where I was standing, and I asked if I could try the ring on, she asked me "Why I would need an engagement ring?". It wasn't just what she said that bothered me, it was how she said it. I told her I was getting engaged and I was trying to pick out a ring. She followed that with, "Well if you have a fiancee, shouldn't he be in here buying the ring?" I got mad at this point because of the attitude she was giving me, and told her no to worry, that we wouldn't be purchasing anything EVER from Ben Moss because of her attitude towards me that day. Clearly they didn't need our business, or anyone's we knew either...because I told everyone I knew about what happened there that day, and not to buy anything there. I would like to point out that just because I'm young (22), female and by myself looking at engagement rings doesn't mean I'm just trying to play dress up. Her attitude that day towards me lost her a $5000 sale....
