Defiance Christian Church is the church I grew up in, so it was a no-brainer to have my ceremony there! It's a brand-new building and seats up to 500 people. Not only is there tons of potential for beautiful, personal decorations, but the church itself is well lit and perfect for a ceremony!

I was stressing about finding a good reception hall, caterer, and DJ all for the same night. However, when I got my reception hall, the caterer was taken care of! Two birds with one stone. The Barn Restaurant does all of the catering for Founder's Hall. It's owned and operated by Mennonites, so the food is home cooked and delicious! My family loves eating at The Barn every once in a while, but it is pricey, so we don't do it often. But for the price of the hall and catering, $17/ plate isn't bad! I'm so excited to have them for my caterer. The only downside is, I don't think they cater to anything but Founder's Hall.

I went to David's Bridal before we got engaged just to look at ideas for my wedding dress. However, they were having their $99 dress sale, and I found the perfect gown! I sent a picture of it to my best friend and she replied, "it doesn't matter how much it costs! it's perfect! buy it!" It was one of the $99 ones! They also do a complete run over of the dress to make sure it is perfect before you buy it.

My fiance is from Hershey, PA, so all of his family is coming from out-of-town. This hotel is the best in our area, but I assumed it was too pricey to consider for that many people. I guess you never know until you ask! The AAA discount brings the nightly stay to $99/ night and the group rate is $85/ night! The hotel is beautiful and antique. It's a great place to just go and walk around for the sheer beauty. I'm so excited to have it for his family! The only downside is that it books up quickly, so it has to be reserved about a year in advance.

The hall is GORGEOUS! I heard wonderful things about it before even seeing it, booked it anyway, and then went to see it. The ceiling is vaulted, and it is a completely wooden structure. There is a big stage and a big dance floor. They do all the catering for you, so that's one less thing to worry about. They handle all the set up and tear down (except your own personal decorations). It's owned and operated by Mennonites, so the food is home-made and delicious! The owners also own the Barn Restaurant and the Heritage Inn. All three compliment each other and the area is just perfect!
