Kristine Cruz is the bomb! Searching for a hair and make-up person that catered to my needs was probably the most difficult thing to find during my wedding planning that I didn't find one until the last month! I went through a handful of hair and make up artists. But I'm sure glad I found Kristine! Based on how beautiful pictures of her past clients looked, I thought she was going to cost an arm and a leg, but her prices are VERY VERY VERY reasonable! But it gets better...

When I went for a consultation, she was so good that I liked all the styles she tried on me. She is also very up-to-date with the latest trends, so I truly felt my hair style was fabulous! As far as make-up went, THEE BEST of all my trial runs! She knew the right colors and blends. She knows how to bring out your beauty. And most importantly, her makeup ROCKS in pictures!

The day of the wedding, Kristine exhibited many wonderful characterisitcs that all brides should have in a makeup/hairstylist. First of all, not only was she punctual, she was early! The day of your wedding when you have nothing but nerves in your stomach, the mere fact knowing the person who will be making you pretty is there early HELPS a lot! To add to his, she was very calming during while she was doing my hair and makeup. This is very important especially during a time when you have so much going through your mind and so many emotions going through you and so much hustle and bustle in the house! She was very meticulous in her work. I could tell she took extra care in achieving the look I wanted.

Later on throughout the day, I realized she had stuffed my purse with "emergency items" that came in VERY handy, including facial tissue/blotters, a comb, extra bobby pins, and hairspray. Trust me - you'll need these! I used all of them whenever I needed a refresher. Keep in mind, though, that she uses a makeup setter that leaves your makeup on all day. So the only thing I had to reapply was lipstick. Finding all those needed supplies in my bag was a very pleasant surprise!!

Kristine also made my nieces, mom, and sister look more beautiful that day, as well! I received so many compliments about my makeup and hair. Kristine truly fulfilled my goal of looking my best. This is what you want for one of the most important days of your life! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND KRISTINE CRUZ OF PARALLEL UNIVERSE!

Patty is very easy to work with. The greatest thing about her is that she'll work with whatever budget you have!! I think compared to what other florists were quoting me, my budget is on the extremely low side, yet Patty was very understanding of this, saying that she believes in providing the best service for brides no matter what their budget is. A lot of florists require you to have a minimum and do not like it when you want to DIY some aspects of the decor to save money. Patty, however, is completely okay with it, even offering creative suggestions and helping you envision a beautiful setting for your wedding day. I had a consultation with Patty recently. In addition to being very punctual, she answered all my questions, thoroughly demonstrating her knowledge of a wide array of flowers. She has a lot of great ideas that I think I will use for my big day.
