We didn't use a vendor to book our honeymoon, we used a timeshare, but we went to Hawaii. All you hear is how expensive Hawaii is so we expected it to be more expensive than it was but oh my gosh was it amazing. We went to Oahu for 1 week and Maui for one week but the sights were amazing. There was so much to do. We stayed with Marriott and the service was outstanding. They did everything they could to cater to our needs. The rooms were amazing.

We found our videograher through our photographer and therefore recieved a discount. I believe we got a lot for our money. John showed up at my house at noon and did not leave until the reception ended at 11:30. We recieved 3 dvds and an unedited one for our viewing. He also keeps in touch with you to make sure names were spelled correctly and that we are happy with the videos. He's extremely nice and fun and seemed very grateful we chose him to be our videographer.

The nice thing about Lexington House is that it's one room so only one event a night. The bad thing is that its big so the minimum is large. However, since our wedding was in the winter they cut the minimum in half for us. The prices were the cheapest we found and we got a lot for our money. They have an exquisit package which has appetizers, dessert table, ice sculpture, center pieces, etc. for a cheaper price than any other recpetion site that we found. The service was good and the reception was a blast!

What a horror my bridesmaid dresses were from Davids. Davids was one of the only stores I found that had the dress color emerald green. My bridesmaids and myself found a dress we liked and one out of 5 girls bought their dress. I was told that if the dresses were discontinued we would be notified since 1 girl did buy her dress. Months later I took the rest of the girls to Davids to buy their dresses just to find the dresses discontinued for a while and impossible to get. The workers were useless and did nothing to assist in this situation. It wasn't until I called their customer service/corporate line did I recieve any assistance. They were able to find all the dresses in the sizes needed which was amazing and everyone got the dresses for the clearance price of $40 which was even more amazing but the headaches and the weeks it took to figure it out was hell.

I bought a crystal headband, my garters, and a rememberance candle from Wedding Bliss. Although expensive, everything (except the headband) was hand made and beautiful. The remembereance candle was very important to us because a member of my husband's family passed away before the wedding and the candle was beautiful.

We found creative cakes just by driving down oak park ave in Tinley Park. Although we found cake for a cheaper price elsewhere, we booked creative cakes because of the uniqueness of their cakes. We ended up getting a cake with an amazing design that was made of chocolate cake and rasperry mousse and another layer of banana cake and carmel mousse. It was by far the best cake I've ever had! They are worth their price!

We picked our limo service through our florist and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. My husband is a big car guy and we wanted something different for our limo, not just a normal limo. He had the perfect limo. The day of our wedding, it started snowing around 12:30 and our ceremony didn't start until 2. We were very worried he wouldn't take the limo out in the snowy weather, however he did. We were able to use the old plymouth limo for the ceremony, get some amazing pictures with it, and then switch to a regular expedition limo for the rest of the night. He was always on time and even in the snow the drive was good.

If you are able to use Julie's shop, you should! Her prices are very reasonable and the turn out is amazing. She was very helpful during the entire process of picking out flowers and decorating for our wedding. Her flowers were beautiful, the colors were perfect, and the prices were excellent. She was a big help and took a lot of pressure off us by helping do everything with our centerpieces. We were very pleased with her work.

I was very excited once we met with Abbey Studios, they seemed very dedicated to their clients and excited to have you as a client. The day of the wedding our photographer had his equipment stolen from his car so one of the owners stepped in an became our photographer/back up photographer. Yes, some weird pictures were taken. When we got our proofs I was disappointed. However, now that our album is finished and we have it, our album looks amazing. I couldn't be happier.
