We did not have a good experience with this caterer. It's my understanding that other people have in the past, but we simply did not. Customer service was not a priority, and as a result everything catering related (leading up to the wedding and day-of) felt very haphazard. It was close to impossible to get questions answered. We practically begged for a contract, but were never sent one once they had our deposit money in hand. We ended up hiring our day-of coordinator to handle all interaction with the caterer, after it quickly became apparent that it was going to become a huge time and energy suck. And the food we were served day-of certainly didn't make up for the hassles and expense. We hired this vendor because we like the food at her restaurant, but were sorely disappointed by the catering experience. Do yourself a favor and go with one of the other more established and better-organized companies.

I first read about Harper on the indiebride forums. I pretty much decided from the get go that the whole bridal shop experience wasn't for me. After ordering several dresses from Nordstrom and J. Crew and rejecting them all, and wanting to keep as much of our wedding spending local as possible, I gave Harper a call. She was already fully booked for September, but decided to squeeze me in... and I'm glad she did. Everything I read here about her was right on. She is patient, openminded, works within your budget, has dealt with 1000 brides (many/most of them "nontraditional" from what I gather) and has loads of good advice. She created a dress for me that, while not exactly what I had in mind when I first went in, nonetheless was fantastic, high quality, and fit like a glove. Harper is very careful not to inject her personal style/likes/dislikes into the creation of your dress, so if you're iffy at decision making, make sure to bring a friend with you at your fittings.

We hired Connie initially to be our day-of coordinator but later ended up asking for her help in dealing with our caterer and rentals when our caterer dropped the ball. Connie is knowledgeable, totally professional, and has tons of contacts, and while I think our wedding was a little out of the ordinary for her (small, lower budget, DIY) we didn't ever feel like our wedding wasn't worthy of her time. I would recommend Connie to anyone in a heartbeat.
