Many vendors for the San Antonio area, and a great place to get ideas and information. I wasn't very pleased because many vendors were aimed at a fairy-tail wedding, which I'm not interested in, but it was still very helpful

My fiance designed my ring, other jewelers looked at his design and told him to forget about it and just pick a ring. Ernesto's made it, for a reasonable price, and it is better than any of them, or I, expected. They are always happy to see me for a free cleaning or setting check.

The owner has a great vision for what it will be, and the gardens are beautiful right now, but the reception building hasn't been built yet! They haven't even broken ground. The owner wants top dollar for her non-existent building. While she seems to have impeccable taste and vision, I can't trust someone to get the building built and have it still be what I want.

Hilarious, great dancing music, everyone loved the band. You do need to make sure your facility can accommodate a 6-8 piece band, but they are worth it.

Well, she only does hair in San Antonio, TX, but she is great. Excellent with an edgy style and minimal direction, but she can still do an amazing, polished updo, and very reasonable.

Very beautiful Victorian mansion in a nice area of San Antonio. Despite the beauty and reasonably price, be careful. They charged us to repair an antique chair a guest had supposedly broken. Upon inspection, it was visible that the chair had been broken a few times prior, and had been in a roped off room. They were just trying to cheat us. The security guard left early, despite his contract stating he needed to stay until everyone left the venue. They were very unhelpful about letting the caterer use their kitchen facilities for final meal preparations. It was beautiful, but the women running it are very dissatisfying.

I didn't think Alfred Angelo was going to be in my price range, but I was pleasantly surprised. The dresses were mostly reasonably priced, they had a wide variety of styles, including ones that are fashionable but not necessarily popular. In addition, their customer service was amazing. Very helpful, attentive, the sales woman knew her stock and quickly picked up on my style and recommended appropriate dresses. In addition, because they knew a sale was coming up, they gave me the sale price on the dress instead of making me come back later for a price adjustment.

I was very unimpressed by David's Bridal. The dresses were not made of high quality materials, many were made of nylon, acetate and polyester, and they were much pricier than other places I went to. You buy your dress directly off the rack so there is a chance people have worn it and their on-site seamstress seems very flustered by the thought of doing any alterations other than hems.

I am not one for castles, but if you are, this probably isn't quite right. The grounds are beautiful, but the ballroom is decorated cheaply with old wall paper, a poorly done mural on the ceiling and tiles which are popping up. They don't have the ability to deal with a live band, which made it an automatic "no."

Goen is one of the only photographers in San Antonio doing art photography specifically for weddings, and he was one of the first. He did my sister's wedding 8 years ago, when he was the only person doing that style. He was professional, attentive and we never saw him at the reception, but he had every photo.
