My husband and I used Special Occasions in Pine Bluff, AR for catering services. Initially were just going to have the cakes made there, but it was decided to have more substantial food present. I ordered a specialty cake (computer) for my husband because of his interests. She was able to made a pretty good rendering of the picture I brought and added some touches we agreed on that looked nice. I loved my wedding cake. I had a 3 tier cake with layers of flowers in between each and it was just what I wanted. The cake tasted very good. I felt some of the food items might have been a little costly, but everyone enjoyed the food so I cannot complain.

I was a big "do it yourself" person to save money for my wedding in October. I was able to watch the sales and use the weekly 40 percent off coupons at Hobby Lobby and pretty much every time I would save at least 40-50 percent on most if not all the products I had to buy. For example, I had garlands of leaves running down the isle of the sanctuary. I was able to purchase nearly 30 garlands at 50 percent off and they were the realistic looking leaves vs the horrible ones you can find elsewhere. I would definitely recommend Hobby Lobby for any other person looking to save money with do it yourself projects. They do have a wedding section and it was wonderful to be able to watch the sales and find things there for 50 percent off!

I decided to get married at the church where I had spent the most time as a young child. The sanctuary holds about 150 I would guess and it has a lot of wood to make it more "homey" than some churches. Anyone living in the White Hall/Pine Bluff, AR area that just wants a small wedding with traditional background, but with a professional sound system and plenty of room, would love this church.

I absolutely loved the flower arrangement and the bouquets that the Petal Shoppe Florist did for my wedding! They were even able to work with me on short notice and sit down in person. The individual that was going to do my flowers initially backed out 4 weeks before the wedding and the Petal Shoppe staff was able to get exactly what I wanted at a more than reasonable price. The flowers were fresh and the bouquets were even better than I imagined! I definitely recommend this shop if you do not have a huge flower budget and really just need a couple of flower arrangements or the bouquets. I am sure they would be able to do large orders as well.

Tracy was great to work with. She responded immediately to emails and was more than willing to go the extra mile to help me in whatever I wanted to do in relation to the pictures. She was willing to stay for the whole wedding (no 2-4 hour time frame like some photographers). Tracy got our wedding party group pictures done in record time. If you don't want a photographer always saying how you want your wedding pictures (or any other for that matter) done, then I would definitely recommend Tracy. She will give the freedom to do things the way you want if you have specific ideas in mind. My husband and I had a blast with Tracy around.
