A million thank you's to Eddie and his staff at City of Commerce Flowers. Our florals from the centerpieces to the bouquets were stunning!!! To this day, guests are still talking about the florals. Prior to selecting Commerce Flowers, we met with a few florists and decided that Commerce had the best prices for the flower selection we wanted for the wedding. I am a huge orchid lover and Eddie was able to incorporate orchids at a reasonable price. My bouquet was gorgeous and I loved carrying it. I was very particular about my centerpiece colors and changed the colors three times. Eddie was so patient and listened to my requests. The result was truly breathtaking. Thank you City of Commerce Flowers!!!

DJ Tasos of Atmosphere Entertainment rocked the reception! Everyone was on the dance floor having a great time. Atmosphere also provided the uplights and pinspotting for the centerpieces, candy buffet and cake. Lighting makes such a huge difference!! We dug Tasos from the moment we meet with him and signed him right on the spot for our wedding. He is personable and a true profesional. I must say he played a request not many DJs would have - New Kids on the Block. Loved it! Check out Atmosphere and hire them!!!

Jackie and Vanessa were the make-up artists and hairstylists who beautified two of my bridesmaids and me for my wedding. I had my trial with Jackie too and was happy my look that I booked her a few weeks later. Jackie and Vanessa were scheduled to arrive at 8:00am and showed up at 7:45am which was great. After Jackie put on the false lashes, I was ready to get married! My bridesmaids and I looked gorgeous and elegant. It was a very warm and humid day plus due to a power outage there was no air conditioning in the church! Photos were taken outside as well. Needless to say, I was sweating up a storm, but my make-up and hair looked flawless. Because of the heat, I needed to touch up prior to the reception but that was it. After all the dancing and crying, my make-up and hair stayed in place through the ceremony and reception. Check out Susie Chhuor and set up a trial with Jackie or Vanessa. Soon after you will book them too for your wedding!

I can not thank Michelle Tortuya and her assistant Kym for all they did to make my wedding gorgeous. They are true professionals and I will always be grateful for their willingness to make my vision of the reception a reality. With the power out at the church resulting in no music, no lights and no air conditioning, we felt very confident with Michelle being there, taking care of us and put our minds at ease. I had certain specifications on how the candy buffet and memory table were to be designed. It was done the way I asked. Michelle was always there via email or phone to answer any questions we had. Her vendor recommendations were so helpful that we booked a number of them for our wedding. Michelle is very detail-oriented! I loved that her timeline was so meticulous and kept everyone on track. Candi is an awesome lady. She reviewed the different styles of veils since I was clueless about them and I ended up ordering a cathedral veil and blusher. Her prices are reasonable and the quality of work is excellent. Future brides - go to Candi for your veils!

I love love love Trista's photos and wanted to book her for our e-pics and wedding photos. When we met with her, she was one of the top choices for our photographer. Luckily she is available on our wedding day. I look forward to working with her. I am confident that our photos will look great!

EDIT: Trista took our engagement photos at Disneyland during the month of December. It was very busy at the park! She was able to not only take great photos of FI and I, but make us laugh and put us at ease. Thank you Trista!!

EDIT #2: DH and I took photos in Balboa Park in San Diego with Trista. We loved the photos!!

The first time I went to the Wedding Day, I had a great experience with a bridal consultant named Liz. She was very helpful and patient with me in selecting bridemaid dresses. Unfortunately, Liz no longer works at the Wedding Day. When I returned recently to the store, I dealt with another bridal consultant who was awful and a bit condescending. She had no customer service skills and did not know what she was talking about in terms of dress styles or alteration questions. I told her that I am trying to be cognizant of what my bridal party will pay for their dresses. She kept pulling dresses that were out of my price range. As a result of the bad experience, my bridal party will not purchase their dresses at the Wedding Day.

I had a good experience at Jinny's bridal center. All of the bridal consultants were great. Prices are pretty reasonable. I worked with Jinny and Sherry in selecting my Maggie Sottero wedding gown. Jinny helped me buy a "wow" wedding dress. She's a sweet lady and really knows the wedding business. If you are a bride looking for your dress, check out Jinny's.
