Anne is amazing. I had found a wedding dress that I loved, but I wanted some alterations made to the basic shape, and I also obviously wanted it fitted to me. Anne collaborated with me on the changes to the shape, and made small incremental changes so that I could try it on along the way to make sure the final look was turning out the way I had envisioned it.
She is super sweet, and also very talented. I can't believe how little she charges to do such wonderful work. I had her alter another dress of mine during the time of the wedding fittings- she did great work on this as well, and would've forgotten to charge me for it had I not reminded her.
I was so happy with the way my dress turned out, and I loved the experience of working with Anne.

We used Sage for our wedding reception at the Outdoor Art Club in Mill Valley. We were thrilled with the service and food they provided.

From our first meeting with Scott, it was clear that we were getting a higher level of attention and service than we had gotten from the other caterers we met with. Scott solicited my ideas about menu planning on the phone before our first meeting, and created a menu with our favorite foods and flavors in mind. When we went to the tasting, we got to eat enormous portions of every single item on our proposed menu. The food was delicious. I'm a bit of a foodie, so I did have a few ideas about additions/tweaks to the menu. Scott was very attentive, and incorporated all of my changes into a revised menu. We were sold and decided to book Sage for our wedding.

We worked with Scott and Spring in the planning stages. They were both prompt, professional, and responsive. They answered emails promptly, met me on site to do a walk-through of the venue, and ordered space heaters last minute when the wedding weekend was colder than expected. They also agreed to make and serve a signature cocktail from a recipe that a friend of mine created.

At the wedding, the food and service were phenomenal. We got many compliments on the food, from fellow Bay-area foodie friends who are hard to impress. Having good food was very important to me, and I was so glad that we made the decision to hire Sage. If you can hire them, do!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Outdoor Art Club and could not have been happier with our choice. We LOVED this location.
It is such a charming venue - romantic, intimate, and an historic Arts & Crafts building. All of our guests complimented us on the setting, and because the building and gardens are so beautiful, it requires very little added decoration.
The rental director, Laureen, deserves 6 stars. She was incredibly, incredibly helpful and kind. She answered all emails super promptly, she arranged with the city to get permits to reserve the parking space in front of the building for us, she even offered to store our small wedding cake in her own personal home refrigerator because we needed to bring it over from Oakland the day before the wedding. At a time of so much coordinating, it was wonderful to have our site director be so helpful
Another bonus - the rental fee gets you the site from 8 am until 1 am on the day of the wedding - so no time restrictions to consider when planning your event.
This was an amazing wedding venue!

Janet and Lisa are absolutely, totally, amazing. If you are considering booking them for your wedding, do it! You won't be disappointed.
The first part of their wedding package is the engagement photo session. My husband and I hadn't even thought of doing engagement photos, but after this session with J&L, we were hooked. They photographed us in four different locations near our home. The resultant photos were absolutely beautiful (we looked like models in a photo shoot) but also truly captured *us* and our relationship. We were thrilled.
Then came the wedding day. We had booked J&L for the "all day" package - and they were with us from 8 am, when we held a wedding morning yoga class for family and friends, through the end of the reception at 11 pm. They are incredibly talented photographers. Their choices of shots, camera angles, lighting - all unbelievable. But in addition to creating beautiful, flattering photographs, they are also so skilled at finding the moments that capture the emotions and memories of the day. Watching the slideshow that they created of our wedding day was like reliving the day itself. The photos from the ceremony made me misty-eyed. The photos from the dance floor at the reception made me laugh hysterically. It was a perfect record of our day.
And one last thing - Janet and Lisa are both laid-back, funny, and super cool -exactly the kind of people and energy you want around you on your wedding day.
I'd give them 10 stars if this site would let me.
