I am writing to tell you a quick little story about how CRUMBS cupcakes were a part of the best day of my life (so far)! On Saturday, May 10th my then boyfriend and I came into the city to celebrate what I thought was going to be an early birthday weekend. When thinking about the weekend before hand I had told my boyfriend that I wanted to have a cupcake instead of a birthday cake this year. I have been slightly obsessed with cupcakes for quite some time and had heard of CRUMBS and was anxious to stop by and try the cupcakes. Our hotel was fairly close to your upper east side store so he suggested we walk to CRUMBS that afternoon and then head over to Central Park to enjoy the nice weather and the cupcakes! When we got to CRUMBS choose the raspberry cupcake and he choose the snickers cupcake:) After we got to the park and found a great spot to sit and enjoy my boyfriend handed my an "early birthday" card and while I was reading it he took the cupcake out and put it in his hand. When I took it out of his hand there was an engagement ring in his palm, then he got down on his knee and proposed! It was the best moment of my life. After I calmed down and we made a few calls to share the good news we did enjoy the wonderful CRUMBS cupcakes. Everyone we have told has absolutely loved the story and has said that it is definitely unique. I just wanted to let you know that CRUMBS cupcakes were a part of a memory that my now fiance and I will have for the rest of our lives!

PS: We are planning on serving CRUMBS cupcakes at our wedding in lieu of the traditional cake!
