Michelle and her team are AMAZING. They are the most personable people you would ever meet. I loved having her get me and my girls ready and her work was perfect, modern and not over done. Each one of my girls had a different style that totally suited them. I will continue to go to her salon to get my hair done because she is the BEST!!

Evan and his team are AWESOME. He was very attentive to our music likes and dislikes and all our special requests.He Pleased us and the crowd as an MC and threw in some great surprises for us. He was energetic but not cheesy. Our guests have continued comment on how great the music was and how lively our party was. We LOVE THEM!!!!!

I cant say enough about how wonderful the lighthouse was during the entire wedding planning and day. The venue is fantastic and unique, the food was phenomenal, and I have a bachelor's degree in culinary arts and have worked as a chef for years in my past. The food was the quality of some of the finest 5 star restaurants i have been to in my life... but for a wedding!!??? Thats unheard of in the catering world!!! The menu selection was amazing, it was very hard to choose our menu because there were so many things I wanted to try!! I made sure I had tasted everything throughout the day. Make sure you do that! Our sales manager Greg was very personable and a great contact. Our banquet manager Richard was ok, he seemed a little stiff but everything went just as planned and he was always reliable and available through the phone and email. The service staff was excellent though, my only complaint is that I had no bridal attendant present. I don't know who she was or If she even was there. The only time this was an issue is when my mother and sister couldn't figure out how to bustle my dress and it was a 20 minute ordeal. Bridal attendants are usually quite good at this from what I hear. Overall the place was OUTSTANDING. I don't think many wedding venues are quite like Pier 60 and the Lighthouse. Me AND every one of my guests continue to talk about how wonderful an event it was and will recommend it highly. Just be prepared to pay for it. There aren't many deals or really anything cheap about this place but, the memories are worth it.

Gorgeous, elegant and modern bridesmaids dresses. I had a hard time picking them out because there were so many that I liked!

RK bridal is a great no frills wedding gown superstore. You have to approach this place knowing what you want to try on because there are so many choices. You cant go in and start looking with no designer and style in mind. Its definitely not a fancy place dont expect people to be kissing your butt while you are trying on dresses and looking around and make sure you go on a weekday. I was in there briefly on a saturday and the place was packed. The prices are good and the selection is fantastic. my only complaint is that it very hot in there all the time and sometimes it was hard to get through on the phone. Wear a short sleeve shirt...

I was so pleased with our experience with Kiriba at Atlas floral decorators, He is an artist and had beautiful visions and designs. He created the look and feel of our wedding from the minute guests walked into the door until the moment they left. I still have people talking about how fantastic the flowers were. Kiriba was always in good contact with me from the moment I first called them and answered all my questions and even educated me on the different flowers I had at the wedding. I cant say enough about the modern, elegant style that he and his team created at my party. They were very reliable and flexible with me for every meeting and on my wedding day. I had high expectations for this and every single one was met!!!

Had a great experience with Sarah Merians and her team before and during our wedding. They have a fantastic studio and a wide range of photographers. Ours contact sales associate Jill was very personable and helpful, she guided me through our entire experience. When she left on maternity leave Sarah Merians herself handled my planning and she was awesome too. They have a wide range of photographers from traditional to photo journalistic and everything in between, they do fantastic special effects as well and take care of everything inside their beautiful 5th ave studio. We used videography from them as well but got an un dedited version because it was less expensive, I think it is fantastic and better than an edited version because you get to see everything. Our proofs and video came back to us so quick that we were still on our honeymoon when they were finished! Though they are a little on the expensive side. I recently designed my album and was disappointed in the fact that is cost me so much extra just to have 20 extra images than they include in the album they say is included in the package you buy before the wedding. 50 images is impossible to capture even the bare minimum of what happened at our medium sized wedding. There prices are astronomical and I am disappointed that I can not receive a copy of my photos on a disc until a year after I receive my album. Though I do have physical printed proofs of every picture taken and they came very quickly. The prints are also very pricey I wish some were included considering how much money we already paid them. But I don't want to make this negative, their work is excellent and I am more than pleased with the quality of our photographs and our FABULOUS photographer Tina.

I found Alma the project wedding site and thank god I did. She recently officiated my wedding at the lighthouse at Chelsea piers and It was the most perfect, unique, heart felt, emotional, personalized ceremony that I have ever witnessed and I am still receiving calls from my guests about how it was the best wedding ceremony they have ever attended. (I knew it from the moment I first spoke with her over a year ago) You could feel the love in the room as she orchestrated the ceremony that she wrote with my husband and I, beginning to end.
She has a soft yet strong way about her words and when she speaks she captivates people whether, it was just me alone or our entire audience. She gave us the opportunity to included touches of spirituality, religion and a whole lot of our personal feelings into this important milestone of our life. Every couple should be as lucky as us to experience working with Alma. I couldn't Imagine not having her and I cant wait to relive it with our video!!!! SHE IS THE BEST!!!
