We chose Yummy Cupcakes (Santa monica) to be our wedding cupcake baker after a long 5 months of trying out all cupcake bakeries in the area. We tried 6 different bakeries and Yummy won with better taste, presentation, prices and flavor choices. They were very accommodating and the rental fees for stands, etc. were the most reasonable out of the 6 others we tried. Everyone loved the cupcake idea and the fact that they were able to chose their favorite flavor. I go back to Yummy for all of my friends birthdays. It makes the best gift!

FAvors are such an expense and usually get thrown in the trash or left on the table. I relaly wanted something that went along with our beach theme and something edible but not outragously expensive (like $6 per cookie!) This was a godsend. Grandma Lulu's were delicious. The guests loved them and still talk about them. We are still eating the left overs (I ordered about 30 too many) Two months later. The shipping was reasonable and quick. all cookies were intact upon arrival. This is your favor if you are doing a beach themed wedding!

Gina and Mike shot our wedding September 1, 2007. My husband is very very very particular when it comes to art, photography, money sense, practicality and individualism (is that a word?). We spent about 2 months looking for photographers that had the style that we both had in mind. He did not like any. If he did like them they were way out of our pricerange of $1000 to $2000. Finally, my husband found Gina and Mike. He emailed me enthusiasticly all of the info and we booked them immediately. At first we thought it was a joke that they were so affordable. No one in SoCal had the perfect price with the perfect style, except for them. We were thrilled when we found out it was not a dream. They are that affordable and they are THAT GOOD. Emailing with Gina and Mike was always a pleasure and they were always extrememly flexible when it came to us rescheduling engagement sessions and meeting at the site of our wedding ahead of time to get ideas. It has been two months since the wedding and by far the best part of the entire event are the pictures! We cannot believe the shots they managed to capture. My husband and I were totally and utterly stressed the entire day and had minimal time to enjoy ourselves. So it was amazing to see us laughing in pictures and people dancing and partying and the reception looking like a profesional had control of the entire event. They created magical moments with the pictures they took.. We are so grateful to Gina and Mike for giving us memories of a beautiful day! Our pictures are available for viewing on pixoflife.com.
