Brandon's work is phenomenal. His professionalism is a bit lacking though. Difficulty with communication (getting in touch with him is tough) made it hard to get our final product back, but in the end, it was well worth it. We were able to negotiate engagement photos and weekend photography, but the photos were not returned within the specified time frame.

He is great to work with and in my opinion is the definition of Cool. I'd work with him again, even though he is difficult to get ahold of.

Darcie and Tonya do a great job, though our relationship professionally didn't turn out quite like I had hoped. Day of coordination was great, and in this instance worth it. But throughout the planning process, the budget was not followed until we were WAY over budget, and some of the vendor reviews were lackluster (florist ended up using fake flowers in bouquets and bout.). The ladies were great to work with and did end up being very helpful, but didn't have many of their own ideas when it came to designing the wedding, which is what we had hired them for.

They did a great job communicating with the vendors and making sure everyone was where they needed to be and that everything got done.

Brain was WONDERFUL! He is not a cheesy gold lame vest wearing DJ, very professional. All the music was spot on and the dance floor was busy all night long. He also kept to the 'do not play list' and made sure the songs that were important to us were played. He has great ideas regarding timing and what songs should be played if you come to a mental roadblock.

After having an issue with the cost of another hair vendor ($125 for day of, $80 for a run through), I discovered Salon 6 through a friend. Not only were they reasonably priced ($30-35 for a blow out, $50-55 for an updo), they accomodated my last minute frenzy to get in there on a Friday morning for my runthrough and Saturday morning for day of. The owner of the salon bent over backwards to get me in, and also to accomplish the style I wanted, fingerwaves.

My hair and my girls hair (mother in law, 6 bridesmaids, 2 hostesses) were beautiful!! It was worth the 10 minute drive north out of downtown to be at this cool and trendy salon with such talented stylists that truley helped to make it a great day!

This location, though expensive, was worth every penny. Not only is it a gorgeous venue, but they were very accomodating (gluten free, vegetarian, and lactose free meals, allowing my pastry chef to assemble the cake IN the hotel kitchen). The staff is extremely nice and helpful. This is truley a 4-5 star hotel. Every need was answered. The food was great, the rooms beautiful. I had about 178 people there, and we were able to fit everyone on one floor, allowing the balcony to be used for cocktails. We wanted to eat dinner during the cocktail hour, and they were very accomodating. Sonya is a great asset and was organized and super helpful. I would recommend this location to anyone.

We also had the ceremony there. It was great to be able to have the ceremony in the ballroom, cocktails on the balcony, dinner in the lobby, then move back to the ballroom for dancing after a big reveal. Photo opportunities on site and around the area are endless. We were able to negotiate a great room rate for a block of rooms. We were also able to continue to add rooms to that block, for a total of 70!, because our whole wedding was from out of town.

I had contracted with Wanda to do my wedding day hair. It would have cost $125 for day of, then an addition $80 for a trial run. I put $125 down as my deposit to save the date. About 3 weeks before the wedding, I had to cancel with her due to cost ($205 for wedding day hair is a bit much). I was told by my wedding planner (who had suggested Wanda) that my deposit would be refunded. I have yet to receive the check. I've spoken with Wanda on the phone in April, and was told the check was in the mail. It is now June, and my calls and emails are not being returned or answered, and I have yet to receive my check.
