I had a connection with a friend of a friend for a videographer, but I went online to research what normal prices were, and what what was included for the given price. I'm glad I did. Low and behold I found IstariMedia while browsing randomly online. I put in my information on the easy to use website, including what I wanted (ex. 1-3 songs, only 1 photographer), and was given back an estimate almost immediately. The estimate was EXACTLY what I paid for the finished product, and cheaper than my friend of a friend with more accessories!

Ryan from IstariMedia even came to my rehearsal (but not to our rehearsal dinner :) ) to scope out the ceremony location so he could get a feel for how things would work on the wedding day. I certainly didn't ask him to do this. This is how IstariMedia is: very proactive, quick and attentive, you won't be waiting endless hours to find an answer to your question.

The actual wedding day he was very attentive as well and got plenty of good shots, angles, and of course all the important parts (toast, boquet toss, garter toss, first dances). IstariMedia also spent some time with us during our reception to get what I can only describe as what would look like in a romantic music video. Myself and my groom holding each other, smiling and whispering to each other while music is in the background playing. This didn't take any time away from our reception because it was while our photgrapher was taking pictures!

My only advice to IstariMedia is let them know what you want beforehand so they don't have to ask on your wedding day (which every vendor ended up doing especially my cateror). Also you can't hear the audio during my dad's speech but that is because the mike wasn't on! Not IstariMedia's fault. I was a busy bride, and didn't have enough time to plan my wedding (but everything worked out anyway as it does, don't stress bride to be's!) and didn't communicate very well with IstariMedia, but the finihed DVD (which I got 2 copies of by the way, and 2 samples) were great. IstariMedia wouldn't send me the final copy until I approved of the sample. Overall excellent customer service! I would recommend IstariMedia to anyone, whether you have a budget or don't, its affordable, you have MANY options, and IstariMedia is willing to work with you! If your finished product isn't perfect, honestly its because you didn't communicate what you wanted. We aren't capable of telepathic communication yet people!
