The bridesmaids turned out beautiful. I thought they were a good price too, and I did a lot of shopping around.

My wedding dress turned out beautifully. Mori Lee has beautiful dresses at really good prices.
We decided to do our centerpieces ourselves. We ordered from Pike's Peak our vases and flowers. If you pay for it all on a Wednesday, you'll receive a 20% discount on certain items. The centerpieces turned out beautifully. We picked up some ribbon for pew bows and some bouquet jewelry from here. We were also able to meet up with our florist here to pick out what colors and types of flowers I wanted for the bridal party.
I got cardstock here to make menus for each person's seat. Also, got lots of candles and a few vases for the candy buffet. They have stuff on sale every week and also 40% off printable coupons on their website. We saved a lot of money by doing things ourselves.
Large variety of jewelry. I got my earrings and a bracelet here. But, I also ended up going to Harwin and finding the same type of stuff for half the price. I got my hair piece and bridesmaids jewelry in Harwin.

I got a lot of ideas from this place. I recommend making your own personal labels at home so you don't have to buy the ones there or hand write your information for the vendors. I also got a lot of coupons and information about open houses. This is where I found out about the venue I chose - The Tuscany in Garden Oaks.
I thought this Hotel was really nice and in a great location for my Bachelorette party. It was in walking distance to bars downtown, so my bridesmaids, a few friends, and I pre-partied in our room, went bar-hopping downtown, and were able to crash at the hotel. It was a lot of fun! The staff was also very friendly. The bellhop gave us tips on where to go downtown. There was a discounted price too since we were there Labor Day weekend (30% off). I thought it ended up being a really good deal.
My Rehearsal Dinner was at the location in the Heights. My fiance and I picked three entrees from their bulk menu and a couple appetizers. They gave us two long tables in the back of the restaurant. It was a little louder in the restaurant than I would have liked, but I thought it turned out nicely. We all saved too on alcohol since we brought our own. Food was good.

We went here for our wedding night and loved it. The ceilings are so high in the rooms, crown moulding, wood floors...so beautiful! Go up to the roof, there is a beautiful view of the Galveston historic district. My only complaint is that everyone told me to tell them it was our honeymoon since hotels will usually do something nice for you, like give you a complimentary bottle of champagne. I told them twice, when I booked and when I confirmed, and they did nothing for us.
I also recommend the restaurant Luigi's which is located behind the Tremont. My husband and I were starving when we got to the hotel and wandered into this restaurant. It was the best Italian food I've ever had!
I was at Michael's practically every weekend leading up to my wedding since my mom and I did a lot of things ourselves. We bought jars from here for the candy buffet with the 40% off coupons found in the newspaper. We also got the invitations for the bridesmaid's luncheon from here, which were really cute and matched my colors. My only complaint was from when we returned a bunch of centerpiece vases that we changed our minds on (before they were used). The manager who was up at the front seemed "put out" that we were returning them. Get over it lady.
