My fiance is allergic to pollen, so Michaels is a HUGE help to us!! My flower is a calla lily and we are getting married in fall, so it is also more cost effective for us!

This is a great little country church out in the middle of no where. If you are looking for a country setting, this is a nice choice. It's not really fancy, and the back of the parking lot has a nice wooded backdrop for outdoor pictures.

As odd as it sounds, some of the most gorgeous rings that I have looked at came from Walmart. And the prices are great for our budget. We are paying for most everything ourselves, so getting a gorgeous wedding band for just a few hundred is helpful.

The Foodland in Kittanning has wonderful fried chicken, and the price is extremely reasonable. It is also the only place that I found where you can order your chicken without the wings, which was a good deal for us.

This is a lovely cabin location in the Cook Forest area north of Clarion, PA. They have two honeymoon cabins complete with two fireplaces and a whirlpool bath for two under a skylight. Outdoor fire ring and seating makes it a perfect place for the fall honeymoon. The colors are amazing. And the price was for a full week.

The local vocational technical school holds a bridal show every year, generally at the beginning of the year sometime. Vendors from all around the area come in to tell you about their company. There are free magazines handed out to the couple, and last year they had a drawing for a free honeymoon!

For the Kittanning area, this is a great place to hold a reception. It is large (no cramped seating here!), it has a bar with it's own taps and ice machine, a large dance floor, and a stage for your entertainment to set up on. It is air conditioned/heated as well, so you can keep it at a comfortable temperature for everyone in their gowns.

I love the Party Palace. It is great for those couples on a budget! They let you rent out some larger items at a decent cost. And the best part is that you can pay in installments instead of having to come up with a full amount all at once.

This shop is located in Kittanning. This is where we are getting our tuxes from. I like the fact that we can get postcards and send them to our groomsmen overseas so they can get measured and send them back in. That is a fabulous feature that many tux shops around here don't offer!

Wonderful bridal shop. Alterations are included in the price. Prices are quite cheap and the employees are very helpful. They have dresses from a variety of designers. This shop is in Kittanning.
