When planning our wedding, the photographer was the only expense we didn't want to skimp on as we knew it was the way we were going to remember our special day. We look at hundreds of portfolios and talked to more than ten photographers. The search stop when we talked to Henry.

First, we looked at his portfolio online at henrychenphoto.com. His style was very unique. He is what's called a photojournalist, which means he is quick at capturing the moments as they happen and his photos were a recreation of weddings as if it were from the eyes of one of the guests. It was like being there.

Then in our first conversation, we could tell that his mission was getting to know us so he could give us exactly what they wanted.

The results were amazing: He captured the unforgettable moments, the candid reactions and we even got a glimpse of what we missed, and all with amazing colors and angles. They are intimate without being invasive; artistic without being eccentric; romantic without being tacky. And because he is very creative, our photos have a modern touch that reflect who we are as a couple. Exactly how we wanted to remember our wedding!

Henry was extremely flexible and he made the whole process, before, during and after, very smooth. Everybody in the wedding loved him. He is nice and he knows so much about different types of wedding that he was our guide during ours. My husband kept asking him "OK Henry, we did the dance. Now what?"

We had our engagement session, our wedding session and then a post wedding session with him and we were extremely happy. I recommend Henry and will work with him again in any future sessions!
