The service was horrible. Both times I was there, I practically dressed myself and my 5 bridesmaid. I spent most of my time looking for the consultant. At the end I got fed up and looked through the racks myself looking for dresses. The only reason why there is one star is because the dresses are nice and the prices are reasonable. Also, I would not recommend scheduling an appointment on the weekend, since those are the days most brides have time for a fitting.

The service was good. I made an appointment with Alicia and she was very professional. We didn't have any problems with them. Even when we canceled with them, our refund was processed the same day. We decided to book a place closer to our church in San Francisco.

We had already booked our reception at the Bridges Golf Course in San Ramon, and we had great service with them, but we decided to find a venue closer to our church. Luckily we got our $1000 refund.

We searched a few places in SF, and found that most of the places were EXPENSIVE...geez. The minimum at the Bridges was $12,000, and the minimum in SF was at least $20,000 (the places we saw). After our extensive search for a reasonably priced and elegant location, the Stanford Court was our last stop. I prayed the night before that this would be the last. And it was!!!

The service was great. Jordan, the sales director is a doll. She answered all our questions and made us feel welcomed. She knows her stuff! She's also easy to get in contact with. I email her with so many questions and she always responds with warm regards.

The hotel is hidden behind the massive buildings surrounding it. FI and I got lost trying to find it :). The hotel is elegant with a simple charm. They're in the process of remodeling it and it will be done in June. The minimum was still a little high for 200 guests, but it included so much more than what the other hotels had offered. And more importantly, you can't beat the service.

FI and I had been to a few tastings. The other places either had not too tasty cakes or their prices were not too tasty either. Finally, I got in touch with Bala. He has a small little office where he does all the baking and designing. His cakes were delicious and his prices were even better. We're getting a 5 tiered cake with chocolate/strawberry filling and vanilla bean/mango filling!

I found JS on theknot.com. I called her, we set up an appointment to meet in Walnut Creek and I instantly fell in love with her! She's great at what she does and she is so humble about it. You instantly feel like she's one of your closest friend.

She did an amazing job on our engagement pictures. She posted a few of them on her blog. Our family and friends can't stop raving about them. We're not getting married until August, but I'm already excited to see the outcome! I told FI and JS that she will be taking all of our pics from now on: in bloom, baby, and family!
