This is a long review, but let me sum it up: Vince is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. If you want a professional, friendly, experienced photographer for your wedding who will give you stunning, high-quality photos at a very reasonable cost – Vince is definitely your guy.

Interacting with Vince:

I got in touch with Vince a couple days after getting engaged. We were referred to him by two sets of friends who used him as their wedding photographers back in 2008. After just a couple emails, I felt as though we’d been friends for a long time! Vince is very personable and worked hard to get to know us as a couple and as individuals. He is also very prompt in responding to emails and was totally cool with answering my hundreds of questions about how the wedding photography process works. He’s been doing this for a long time and you can tell – his experience makes him awesome to work with and he’s got a genuine personality that is both fun and kind.

Services:

We did an engagement session with Vince, even though my then-fiancé was not super comfortable in front of a camera. In the beginning, we were not sure what to do, but Vince quickly helped us relax and pretty soon we were as comfortable and natural as could be. He was super patient when we did 2 outfit changes and went to 2 different locations. I felt that we were going way over the allotted time, but Vince never glanced at his watch or indicated that we should stop. He picked just the right time of day when the sun was good and had an eye for shot backgrounds that a normal person would not be able to capture.

Four months later, Vince photographed our wedding. Again, I was concerned about timelines and that we wouldn’t be able to fit all our wedding activities into 8 hours, but Vince assured me he would be there to capture everything. And he was! He showed up to the ceremony more than 30 minutes ahead of time and departed our reception nearly an hour after he was scheduled to stay. In the beginning, he told me to not even pay attention to him being there. The result was candid, romantic, and magical moments that I will always cherish and remember. The day was absolutely fun (as your wedding day should be!) and I think that Vince really helped to make it go smoothly. Prior to the wedding day, I went over the schedule with him, so he knew everything that needed to happen and kept us on track just as well as my coordinators.

Photos:

The photos turned out excellent! He mailed a DVD to us of all the digital photos within a couple weeks after the engagement session and I probably spent 10 hours staring at the photos the first week! We got another DVD a few weeks after our wedding day. He gave us over 1000 photos for that all day event – all good ones that I would be proud to print and enlarge to hang on my wall. The only problem is, I still haven’t found my “favorite” because there are so many to choose from! One nice thing that Vince did was make 2 folders in the DVD: All Photos and Best Photos. So at least he helped me to narrow down some of my favorites with the 300 “best.”

Price:

Unbeatable. There's not much else to say. His packages are very reasonably priced and he never tried to up-sell or push for more.
