Lisa recently did the hair and makeup for my daughter's wedding....and all I can say is "WOW!" I have to say that my daughter can be "fussy" but even she was thrilled with the results! I went with my daughter for a trial several months before the wedding and then right only 2 weeks before the event, my daughter requested another trial. Lisa cheerfully accommodated us! On the day of the wedding, Lisa and her helper did the hair and make up for 6 girls and the make up for me, as well. Lisa is totally unflappable...she is a delight to be with and her results are just beautiful. Everyone (including me!) looked terrific. The wedding day was very warm and fortunately my daughter decided to wear her hair up...it looked perfect from the first moment to the time they drove away.
Lisa is a delight to be with...and her easy going style helps keep everyone calm! She has a warm wit but she truly knows what she is doing! A professional in every way. We all enjoyed the hours we spent getting beautiful! I am happy to offer her my highest recommendation.

As mother of the bride, I was concerned about how much all of this would cost and even initially questioned the need for a hair and make up professional,but I have to say that I don't know how we could have done it without Lisa. Her fee was money extremely well spent!

I found Sherry and An Elegant Touch of Strings through a mutual friend...and what a lucky find it was for me! My daughter really wanted a string quartet and I am so glad we found An Elegant Touch of Strings. The wedding venue was outdoors in a garden so their music was perfect for the setting...adding yet another lovely dimension to the event. I appreciated how easy Sherry was to work with. Their musical options were extensive, but even so, my daughter had a song in mind as their recessional that was not a part of their usual repertoire. Sherry cheerfully made a special arrangement in order to be sure my daughter had a "perfect day". Additionally, my daughter wanted to sing to her new husband as part of the reception, and again, Sherry accommodated this special request and rehearsed with her. Needless to say, that part of the day is something I will never forget....and I'm sure it will always be a cherished memory for my daughter and son-in-law. Their performance is flawless and just beautiful. The day of the wedding was quite warm and I'm sure they weren't as comfortable as they would have liked, but that didn't diminish the quality of their performance. That is the mark of true professionals! It's hard to think of enough superlative adjectives to describe this
group! I am happy to give them my highest recommendation and offer them great thanks for adding so much beauty to my daughter's wedding day.

California Rose recently catered my daughter's wedding....and all I can say is "WOW"! I am so glad we found Dov and his colleagues. The wedding venue was very challenging for them...outdoors with extremely limited facilities for their use. That didn't prevent them from producing amazing results! The appetizers and dinner were outstanding...the service was impeccable.
Each of our guests were treated with warmth and kindness....every request handled with style. Dov is an easy going person who takes his responsibilities seriously and recognizes how important the day is to the families involved. He made sure everyone was well cared for! As the bride's mother, I especially appreciated how patient Deanna and Angy were with ALL the questions I had. I'm sure they answer the same questions over and over for all their clients, but they made me seem special. That's the mark of true professionals. As a result, I was completely relaxed and able to enjoy the day with my daughter. I am so glad we found them!

They all like to work with her because she makes it all happen. My daughter's wedding was in a tricky outdoor venue and right up to the last few days, the weather was uncertain. She answered all my questions with patience and kindness as if my slightest concern was of the utmost importance to her. We had many "moving parts" at the ceremony and reception and Kathryn made it all happen seamlessly. Because of her skill, I was able to put on my pretty dress, drink champagne, and thoroughly enjoy my daughter's wedding!
