My husband and I both have sweet tooths so we couldn't wait to have our tasting with Melody. We fell in love at first bite! Not only does Melody have a beautiful presentation with her desserts, but they are absolutely delicious! We decided to mix the traditional with the modern, and have a small cake with an array of desserts such as her famous cake pops, scrumptious chocolate shooters, and huge cookies. She is an artist in her field, and we are SO happy that we chose her for our wedding.
I cannot say enough about Kristin and the beautiful work that she did for our wedding. She went above and beyond for me and my husband and I am so grateful for the work that she did for us. When we had our trial in her studio I couldn't help but cry at the beautiful floral centerpieces that she had done for me. She was able to take a loose idea that I had, and create it even more beautifully than I could ever imagine. My bouquet was full and lush, and even the toss bouqet was stunning with amazing details as well! I couldn't ask for anything more with this fabulously talented woman!
The BEST decision that I made during my whole wedding planning process was hiring Christina and her team from SImply Modern Weddings. Before I met her, I had no idea what I wanted, what my vision was, or what I needed to even think about when planning a wedding. Christina helped me focus, and seriously brought our wedding to a whole other level.
The whole week before my wedding, I was stress free and was able to enjoy all of my family and friends. The day of my wedding my family along with me and my groom were able to just enjoy the beautiful day instead of worrying about the little details. Christina was my go to girl during the whole process- she referred amazing vendors, and helped put together my own personal inspiration board on my event which helped the vendors get a feel for the whole theme of the wedding. She drew up timelines for us and the whole bridal party, along with for each vendor, so we all knew where we had to be at a certain time.
One thing that really struck me, was during a conversation with my caterer, she remembered Christina and her staff from three years prior and commented that is one of the best planners that she has worked with. Our caterer commented that she remembered how hard they worked for perfection, and that they stayed throughout the whole event and even afterwards.
Simply Modern Weddings is a class act, my guests, family and friends loved them and we treasure and appreciate all the effort that that they put towards our wedding. I am so grateful for eveything that she did for us, and HIGHLY recommend Simply Modern Weddings for planning your special day.
