This photographer offers more non-traditional photos which we enjoy. On a cloudy, cold day our photos still came out great outside where people ask where were we since it doesn't look the same as the day. The quality is great and the photographers try to make you feel at home, they felt more like friends than people we hired. We only wish that the "photojournalist" photographer would have taken more pictures of our guests enjoying our venue. The price is in the thousands but worth every penny as they give you all the photos and a DVD disc to develop the photos yourself with a professional printer (where prints can be less than a dollar a photo) or you could even choose to use any of the local discount photo shops for those Christmas cards

We got our wedding rings from Helzberg-- The service was wonderful as they offered a lot of options and took their time with us (where we felt other stores simply wanted to sell us something and not try to find out what we were looking for). There selection was expansive which was good because my husband got my engagement ring from a different place but they did not have any wedding rings that really went with the engagement ring. Helzberg had a diamond contour ring that actually matched the ring. My husband who hates to wear rings because they "feel too heavy" found a unique titanium ring that he is willing to wear when we go out. Most titanium rings were too simple at other stores so we were happy with their selection.

We did our table decorations ourselves with our families help. Most of our materials came from Michaels including shells and metal rings which we glue gunned the shells on the ring to sit around the hurricane glasses. Our candles which were in the hurricanes had sand glued on them with a shell wrapped around and glue gunned down. The quality of the products at Michaels helped make our centerpieces look professionally done.

We ended up making candy favors for each guest and loved flower factory prices on all the necessary ingrediants (candy in different colors and flavors) and needed materials (shell candy molds, bags, twisties). I think we spent $30 for 90 people and had extras left over.

The choice and options within this site were wonderful- they offered free samples of several invitations before we put forth our order so that we could see exactly how they would look and the quality of the paper- we spent about $100 for 100 invitations that were printed for us with our choice of font and ink color. The extras like the response card, etc. were a little pricy so we went for a more generic print ourself option on that but the actual invitations were perfect and I had looked for these invitations on other internet sites which always priced them higher.

We used Apple Vacations for our honeymoon to Punta Cana. My husband liked working with them as they offered multiple options within our price range and sent us emails with more information so we could make an informed decision. They took care of our flights, our all inclusive stay, and our transportation between the airport and the resort. While we were there we met with an Apple rep who helped resolve an issue we had with our room. They also recommended great side trips that they could assure were safe and were liable if something happened that we took and enjoyed.

We took the 5-week Ballroom Dance class at the Countryside YMCA 2x. Dave Wissel was our instructor. He took the time to teach us the swing dance and foxtrot (which we used for our first dance). He explained the moves and had us practice them right away to not forget them. His pace is good and even though there are other couples in the class, he does give individual help and tips to get you to look more professional in your dance moves. This is a great option for those on a budget.

This was the required caterer for Newport Aquarium. If we had a choice, we would not have gone with them. The food was fair-good for the price. The communication was poor- it took several months to get ahold of them and to talk with them in person. They were in the middle of opening the Currents Ballroom at the time(now opened), but we did not feel like they wanted to work with us in the beginning. We liked that the staff who served were very professional, speedy, and courteous on the day of the wedding.

We only had flower bouquets and the Flowerman in Dayton did them. We called them up and told them what we were looking for and they put them together for us. We liked the simplicity of the design. They were beautiful and very inexpensive for 2 bouquets for bridemaids made out of hygrangeas and 1 bridal bouquet made out of a dozen ivory roses. I believe we paid under $100 for all three made by them.

Tracy did the best cake for the best price. We liked that we could choose a different flavor for each layer without additional cost. We had a picture of what we were thinking and her design was even better than our photo. The cake was talked about by our guests as being excellent and we ended up not having any left over but 1-2 slices. We had a wedding during her special "winter" rates at the time which I believe was less than $2 a slice. Total cost for 90 people was around $230-250 with delivery and set up.
