I got my wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses here and I was really happy with this place! This was actually the first and only place I went to, but I had quite a few friends who had gotten their dresses here and they were all satisfied customers, plus the good reviews on yelp helped to reassure me that I wasn't making an uninformed decision.

I really wasn't sure what I was looking for at first, but the gal who helped me was really helpful and made suggestions, and even encouraged me to try on dresses I wouldn't consider just so that I could rule them out if nothing else. I tried on about 5 or so dresses, and the last one was the one. And, the great thing is that I never felt any pressure, I felt like she was genuinely trying to help me find the dress that would be most flattering and would make me the happiest. And, I did!

I also ended up doing my alterations there and the seamstress altered it perfectly! She was really sweet and made sure that I was happy and comfortable in the dress. The only thing is that part of the bustle came undone at the reception, but that was probably because my husband stepped on the train about a thousand times that night. But, my coordinator came prepared with safety pins, so crisis averted!

I also bought all of my bridesmaids dresses there and they all looked fantastic. I think only one out of six of them ended up needing to alter the top to make it fit, but then again she was also the only one who measured herself (she lives out of town) so there really could've been a little human error there on her part :) But, the dresses were all really pretty and everyone was really happy with them.

I have to say that this was the easiest part of the wedding planning process. The family that owns this place is really nice. I always felt really comfortable at Pebbles Bridal and I was happy to spend my money there. And, I'm sure all brides say this, but I really got A LOT of compliments on my dress!

My husband had purchased my engagement ring at Icing on the Ring and it is absolutely beautiful! So naturally we went back to purchase our wedding bands there, and we were able to make it to one of their 20% off sales so we were lucky enough to find really beautiful rings at really great prices. And, the quality of their customer service and their level of expertise really made the experience even that much better. Unfortunately I can be pretty clumsy so I've dropped my ring a couple of times and the center stone has come loose more than once. They have always so great about fixing it and giving me advice on how to care for it. And, even though my husband's ring came in exactly the size that we ordered, it was still too big and Icing on the Ring gladly resized it at no charge. I highly recommend Icing on the Ring.

I initially went into Michaels looking for vases for my centerpeices when I came across their wedding supplies section. Although some of the products were pretty cheesy, I found some really beautiful thank you cards and seating cards that matched my theme and invitations perfectly! And, they were so much less expensive than the matching ones that went with my invitations.

Woodland Warner Flowers did such a beautiful job with my bouquets, centerpieces and boutonnieres! For my wedding, the flowers weren't that important to me so I wanted to go really simple and didn't want to spend a ton of money. Lamya was so great to work with and she never pressured me to get more expensive flowers or to spend more money. She really respected my budget and even helped me come up with different ways to save money here and there. And the flowers ended up looking amazing, and I got so many compliments on my bouquet. I'm really happy with both the level of customer service and the products that Woodland Warner Flowers provided, and I highly recommend them!

I absolutely loved my wedding cake from Viktor Benes! They designed the cake exactly how I'd imagined it to be, and to top it off, it was delicious! I was really happy with my cake, and Giuliana and Susan at the bakery were so helpful and so easy to work with. And, their prices were very reasonable, in fact, they were the best I'd found. I definitely recommend Viktor Benes Bakery!

Christina was the day-of coordinator for my December 26, 2009 wedding, and to be honest, she could be quite possibly the best money that I spent on the wedding! She did such an amazing job of making the day flow smoothly, and if there were any issues or hiccups that day, she never let me know. She took care of everything so that I was really able to just enjoy the day.

And even though I hired Christina to do "day of" coordination, I would hardly call it that. I had originally contacted Christina a few months before the wedding, and to be honest I feel like I was in constant contact with her up until the wedding day. She would email me with monthly check-ins just to see how everything was progressing, and was so gracious about giving me referrals for my officiant and baby-sitting services. Not to mention that I met with her a week before the wedding to go over an outline for the day, and then she created a timeline of the day's events and sent a copy out to all of my vendors! She also made sure that all of my vendors knew where to go and what time to arrive. And on top of everything else that day, she also set up my favor display and my reception tables with table runners and centerpieces. And, I can be pretty particular about having things done a certain way, but Christina was so great and receptive to my ideas. She set everything up so beautifully on my wedding day, and even though I felt like I was asking a lot of her, she was so sweet about making me not making me feel like a bridezilla :)

Christina really went above an beyond what I could have ever imagined a day of coordinator to do. I highly, highly recommend Christina!!!

Kelly and her team did such an amazing job for my wedding! I hired Kelly to do the hair and makeup for myself, my 6 bridesmaids, my sister, my mother, my mother in law and my flower girl, and everyone looked fantastic! I had met with Kelly for my trial a couple of months before the wedding, and she did exactly what I'd asked for. I was so happy with the trial that I was almost concerned that I might not look as good on my wedding day! But, Kelly certainly did not disappoint! I am soooo happy with the way my hair and makeup turned out.

I have had my hair and makeup done professionally about 6 times, and perhaps it's because I'm an Asian woman, but I find that many makeup artists decide to go for the "cat eyes" when they do my eye makeup. But not Kelly. She knew exactly how to enhance my features and make me feel beautiful. And, Kelly and her team did the same for everyone in my bridal party (both Asian and non-Asian). And what was great is that they really listened to what each one of us wanted. Some girls wanted really light, natural makeup, and some wanted really dramatic makeup, and Kelly and her team were really accommodating and respectful of what everyone wanted.

Kelly was always really professional, but at the same time she is so sweet and so much fun that it was almost like having a friend there on my wedding day doing my hair and makeup. I am so glad I found Kelly, she is so talented and great at what she does! Now, if only I could find other formal events to go to so that I could hire Kelly again to do my hair and makeup ;) I highly, highly recommend Kelly Zhang!!!!

John at After Dark Entertainment was the DJ for my ceremony and reception, and he did such a wonderful job! He was really great about making sure that the night flowed smoothly but he was never pushy. And, he really kept the dance floor full all night. Not to mention that his prices were the best that I found. I couldn't believe how reasonable his prices were, he was less than half of what some other DJs were charging for the same amount of time!

He was really great about playing the music I had requested (and avoiding the ones I didn't want!). Several guests commented on how great they thought he was (he was never cheesy or obnoxious) and my cousin even booked him for his wedding after attending mine! And, even my mother-in-law, who is strictly a band person, complimented his work and thought he did a great job :) I highly, highly recommend After Dark Entertainment.

Erin and Louis shot my December 26, 2009 wedding, and I could not be happier with the way the photos turned out! They are truly talented, there are so many amazing photos to choose from and they were able to capture so many great moments. And, I particularly love the detail shots, especially since I spent so many hours putting together those details :) And for the quality of their work, their pricing was very reasonable. I did A LOT of research on photographers, and to be honest, when I first came across their website and saw how amazing their photos were, I assumed that they would definitely be out of my price range. I almost didn't contact them, but finally thought I'd give it a try just to see what they would say. And, I'm so glad I did! It turned out they were actually less expensive than a couple of other photographers I was considering, and I loved their work so much more!

Since their photos really speak for themselves, I think it's important to comment on how amazing and professional Erin and Louis were. Throughout the entire planning process I had several questions and Erin was always so great about responding in a timely manner. Not to mention she is one of the sweetest people I have ever met! And, on the day of, both Louis and Erin were not only really fun to work with, but they were absolutely professional the entire time. They made sure that we got all the shots we requested (and some great ones I wouldn't have ever thought of!), but were never pushy or in your face. I am so happy with my wedding photos! And, their turnaround time was just icing on the cake... the blog photos were up in just a few weeks, and I got the disks of my photos last week! I highly, highly recommend Palos Studio!!!

Update: I just got my video and I couldn't be happier! I'd already had pretty high expectations based on the samples of their work that I'd seen, but they far surpassed them! The video is amazing, and their turnaround was so fast! Not to mention, so many people have told me that it is the best wedding video that they've ever seen :) They were able to capture so many really great moments, and I hardly knew they were there the entire night. Original review: I just booked Cinevent to do my wedding this December and I'm so excited!!! I intially wasn't planning on having a videographer, but they recently filmed my friend's wedding (I was a bridesmaid) and the video they made was so amazing, I decided to had to have one! It wasn't cheesy at all like most of the other wedding videos I've seen, it was more like a movie. I'm really excited about my video now :)
